  How to use

  • Download the trainer
    
  • Put the png file (cyberface) you downloaded into your main folder.
    
  • Go to Create a player and name him, give him ratings and save him, go back to edit the player and open up the tool while the player is still in the edit screen. Type in the png number (just the number part) of the cyberface you want to assign into the top left box,
    
    
    
  • Select an option from the drop down box (those control body type and skin color, 4 body types, 6 skin types =24 options)

    1- Fat- skin 1 (darkest)
    2-Muscular - skin 1
    3-normal  - skin 1 
    4-thin  - skin 1
    5-fat body -skin 3 (yes order is switched here)
    6-muscular -skin 3
    7-normal   - skin 3
    8-thin  - skin 3
    9- fat  -skin 2
    10-muscular -skin 2
    11-normal -skin 2
    12 -thin - skin 2
    13-fat -skin 4
    14-Muscular -skin 4
    15-Normal -Skin 4
    16- Normal -Skin 4
    17-Fat- skin 5
    18-Muscular skin 5
    19-Normal -skin 5
    20-Thin-skin 5
    21-Fat -lightest skin (6)
    22-Muscular- lightest skin (6)

  • Click the save box (left box under the dropdown)
    
  • Save your player in game.
    
    Notes:
    
  • Most times you have to do the process twice. And if all else fails, select a different option from the dropbox (saving the player in game each time). Once the cyberface shows up you can change the body type as you wish. while leg skin color can be changed in game.
    
  • When I say saving the player, I mean hitting start from the edit screen to keep changes, you don't actually have to save the roster each time.

JaoSming is working on a workaround, which uses the roster.iff file, so it doesn't work with in game saves. I know he's been able to change cyberface ids and it can work for changing ratings. He's still working on it so we'll see how much we're able to edit with it.

It seems like a lot of the file structure stuff is the same so hopefully that translates into a quick release for Vlads Red MC.

Yep. Totally lazy for 2k to not have fixed this guy yet. He has proven to be one of the top players at his position (top 10?) yet looks nothing like himself in-game.

Also, thanks for the response on roster editing. Was hoping Leftos' tool from last year would work. Sounds like I am holding off on getting this until I can do something with the terrible rosters they have released with the game.

I took a look at the code (it's open source) in hopes of being able to find a way to make it work with 2k14, but it was above my skill level, I know a bit of C++ and Leftos Roster Editor is built with C# (similarities but different). Hopefully we have something usable soon.
