Please please please fix the controller disconnect issue

This drives me up the wall. Having to quit a game online because my controller disconnects for a split second. Why is this still an issue?

I always thought my controller / usb-cable was broken, didnt know it was a 2k problem ^^

I'm using the Logitech Wingman Cordless controller. I have not experienced this at all.

hymm, never ever had this issue before.

wireless xbox 360 controller with official microsoft wireless adapter.

I use the XB360 controller and, in 2K16, if my batteries died during a game, I could not get control back and would have to quit the game. (And if my controller was not on when I launched the game, it would not work on online. Or if it "fell asleep" and went off during the wait for an online game, and was off when the online match was found...no control.)

Prob different from what people are talking about with a wired controllers on 2K17, but be aware...

Is there a message that displays when this happens? I'm also using a wired DS4 and haven't noticed anything so far - though I've only been playing MyCareer. Probably played 3 hours + straight last night.

Have not picked up 2k17 so I don't know if the problem persists. The controllers I have used are:

DS4 (Bluetooth)
DS3 (Wired and Bluetooth)
Generic DS3 called USPRO (Wired and Bluetooth)

I also used software like SCP, MotionJoy, and DS4Windows though not anymore. It was pretty much an accepted fact in the Proam group I ran with that if your controller disconnected in game then you either switched to keyboard(!) or quit. This, for me at least, is strictly an online problem. If my controller disconnects in MyCareer or MyLeague (offline) then I can reconnect without issue.

I use a DS4 (wired) with DS4 for windows. Have never had a disconnect issue. But, I don't play online so I don't know if the issue is limited to that.

I think the issue just dawned on me. It seems to happen if I tip the controller too much, so it might be disconnecting whenever the Sixaxis thing is used. Does anyone know how to disable the gyroscope from working using DS4Windows?

I have this issue big time with 2K16. I can't finish any online games, have already dropped 2 complete ranking levels and can't even play at this point. Would love to find out if there is some fix for this! Using a wireless Xbox 360 controller
