Should we be concerned for Nba Live 15?

I guess it's nice that EA and the Live team is doing what they can to make Live 14 a more enjoyable game after the bad press they received when the game first came out. With them devoting their time to improve Live 14 with all the updates and patches, should we be concerned with Live 15? They are spending more man power and budgets on Live 14 that could be better preserved for Live 15. Do you guys think they should keep improving Live 14 or save these improvements for Live 15?

EA is a big enough company to improve Live 14 while creating Live 15.

Your are right about that, but we shall see. All of EA's excuses have run out with this title. I just don't want fans to deal with another excuse about them having to take some of Live 15's budget for Live 14 because most people were not excited with Live 14. If they can improve Live 14 and take the next leap with Live 15 then I'm fine with what they are doing. If they are improving Live 14 only to take out of Live 15's budget, then they should just leave Live 14 the way it is and just update the synergy of player's games, trades, jerseys, and etc.

Its going to take man power to get Live great again, I just font know if they will use extensive resources and money considering Live 14 didnt make them much. What did it sell? Around 900000 units?

I'm not to concerned. Build on what you have in Live 14 and don't try to reinvent the wheel and they should be fine

All I can say is reinstall crew with real play and officiating the other company will lose. Let the My Player be the superstar online. I played crew daily and so did many others, but I will not purchase any new one untill it returns, and I have not. Yes this will work, yes many people loved it, yes it adds great value to the game. Finding someone to play against was easier then finding reruns of Friends.

To this date, they have sold 136,494 units globally on both XBox One and PS4. Of course we should be concerned for Live 15.

zero concern IMO.. if there was i dont see them wasting time scanning teams into the game.

This warrants more concern than post release support IMO, that's pretty awful.....

It's all about that $....unfortunately the suits don't care about foundations and solid gameplay....I just hope they are willing to make another investment next year...

I really am worried about Nba Live's future. With these numbers, no fan of Nba Live should have a relaxed demeanor about this. If Live 15 does not meet standards I'm definitely going to bump this thread again. If they cannot set the bar for Live 15 because they dedicate too much time to Live 14 then they will not recover. Live 15 cannot look like Live 14! Graphics, animations, player motion, game-play, and etc must improve for them to be taken seriously.

To put those numbers into context

Call of Duty: Ghosts global sales - 2,938,274

                        Battlefield 4 global sales - 2,236,953

                        Fifa 14 global sales - 1,937,586

                        NBA 2K14 global sales - 915,577

                        Madden NFL 25 global sales - 854,358

Lego Marvel Superheroes global sales - 593,072

                        NBA Live 14 global sales - 136,494

These are all the global numbers from Xbox One and PS4 and all sales through the title's first 8 weeks. One or two of them are 7 week numbers, I think Lego Marvel is one of them from the first 7.

How are they going to recover from this result? I don't see them getting past 250,000 units or maybe even 200,000.

Live 15 will be fine. If you don't see an improvement in sales numbers beyond, then you can be a little more worried. Everything they're doing for Live 14 right now, is a building block for 15. The update system that is being implemented allows a continuous update cycle as well.

Live 16 is where I'd be more concerned. Live 15 is well under way.

i would imagine they expected more than 200K units but im pretty sure they knew live 14 wasnt going to be anywhere close to 2k in terms of sales. after four years of no releases including two cancellations they knew year one had to be a building year to get back in the game.

now that they have a solid foundation in place and can really build off it for live 15 i would expect live 15 to be a solid 7-8/10 out of the gate and really sell a lot more. if live 15 doesnt sell 700K+ then i would be worried.
