Re: Official Boston Celtics Thread

Although, I don't think it will happen if Durant did come to Boston would they unretire Reggie Lewis' #35 or is that sacrilege?

Sacrilege

Reggie was my favorite Celtic growing up. KD will have to find a different place to play.

They wouldn't allow the #35 to be worn again.

Reggie was one of my favorites too besides Bird & McHale. I'm sure KD wouldn't care a bit to change numbers.

http://www.celticsblog.com/2016/6/2/...2016-nba-draft

http://www.masslive.com/celtics/inde...aylen_bro.html (This is the guy I would take if not drafting Bender or Hield)

https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/c...EQL/story.html

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...-nba-landscape (Go to 2nd part down the page called "Boston Gets A Star", getting Jimmy Butler for Bradley, Jerebko, Rozier, & the 3rd & 16th pick in the draft)(Sounds like a little too much to give up if you ask me but we could use another star like Butler to go with Thomas)

Re: Official Boston Celtics Thread

For what it's worth I'm reading the C's are high on Jaylen Brown and Marquese Chriss. Thoughts?

I don't really know too much about college basketball, but from what I've read the past few weeks my initial thoughts are I won't want to draft either player at 3. I'd rather take Hield (who I consider the BPA after the "Big 2") or go for the home run with biggest bust potential, Bender.

If they traded down and picked up an asset or two, then maybe I wouldn't mind Brown or Chriss as much. With that said I'm tried of acquiring future assets. I am ready for things to start paying off ASAP and I don't see a big turnaround with either of those two.... but like I said I l dunno too much... so, #InDannyWeTrust

Also, I don't really trust anything that they say at this point. I mean, this could all could be a smoke screen for something bigger. I hope so anyway. The next month or so really going to be interesting.
