I really like both of these guys, but I think taking one of them would leave us with too many small guards.

I would prefer Hield over Murray. Hield has deeper range but Murray can surely light it up. Hield is a little better defender too. Rebounding just about even. If we're going to draft a guard then I want it to be Buddy Hield.

However, we need more at the PF/C positions. That's why I say how can we not go after Dragan Bender or even Jaylon Brown at #3 overall? Rumor is gaining more & more strength that Ainge is going to trade the pick away & get a player from another team like Love or Noah.

I would like Hield also cause we need a consistent outside shooter, but we also need a big down low. Would love for us to get Noah but I hope they don't go after Love. Guess it's going to boil down to how many bigs or shooters are in the draft so they can get one with their 2nd first round pick.

Man, I've too obsessed with this offseason already.

I spent Friday night watching the Finals on one TV and getting all of the current draft picks traded to the right team on NBA 2K on the other. It took about 3 hours, but I every teams 2016 draft picks in the correct order for both rounds.

I ended up trading picks 3 and 16 to Phoenix for 4 and 13, then traded 4 and our first two picks in the 2nd Round to Philly for Okafor. Took Korkmaz at 13 and Deyonta Davis at 23. In Free agency I landed Whiteside to start at C and Jared Dudley (from Boston College) to backup Crowder. Unfortunately, I screwed up just as I was about to start the season by not uploading the correct draft class and had to start over. I ended up making the same moves, but wasn't able to sign Whiteside. Instead I got Dwight Howard and I can't use him.

My team is
IT4, Smart, Rozier
Bradley, Korkmaz, Hunter
Crowder, Dudley
Okafor, Sully, Jerebko, Mickey
Howard, Olynyk, Davis

Between my not being able to use Howard and IT4 that well, not knowing the playbook and the teams Player Morale being down from simulating the first season, I've started out the season 0-4. I should have traded for Butler instead

I did save a couple of extra files before the draft in case I want to start over after the real draft/free agency.

So, he beat Murray by 6 3's? Murray made 79 & Hield made 85. I said all along that I would rather have Hield than Murray anyhow.

I keep going back and fourth between the two and Bender. I mean, it's great that Hield hit 85 three's, but 79 is nothing to scoff at either. Murray is over three years younger than Hield and Murray played much better than Buddy as a freshman. I think Buddy is definitely the short term answer, but may have already peaked. Whereas, Murray could continue to get better and better, but first needs to become as good as Buddy.

I've said many times if we're going to draft a guard with the 3rd pick we should go after Hield compared to all the other ones. He's a knock down shooter & experienced as well playing all 4 years in college. He's a bit better defender. He's about equal a rebounder. Hield has the deeper range although they're pretty close.

However, we're in bigger need of a really good big man. Taking Bender or Jaylon Brown would be my choice but I rather pick Bender over Brown. Bender will be a work in progress but we need something on the inside.

I still don't understand why we haven't used Zeller more since we've had him. He's had some pretty solid games in both scoring & rebounding since being in Boston but his minutes have decreased instead of going up.
