Multi-player dynasty/playing any game in dynasty (not in - confirmed)

Hello. I know I just joined OS, so many people would probably think what I'm going to say isn't reliable. I just talked to someone, who is very close to the EA Sports NCAA Basketball team, he confirmed that multiplayer dynasty is not featured in this year's game. Also, able to play any game in dynasty will not be included as well. He said the game itself made significant improvements from last year, but multiplayer dynasty will not be in. He did say we will be able to see imporvements in dynasty mode, but he didn't go into specific details.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed with this news.

Wow that sucks, guess I'll go back to my old way of dynasty of playing games outside of dynasty, creating my own polls and matchups. Then choosing the field myself, and playing the tournament in tournament mode. Won't be too bad.

If this is true then the producers need to stop asking us what improvements we want. EA obviously does not care. Almost every wish list said online dynasty or multiplayer dynasty. I dont understand what is so hard about this. i hope this isnt true but if it is then all this presentation is for nothing. D*mn EA have some respect for yourself and stop gettimg slapped around by a game that came out two years ago (choops 2k8).

but i hope this dude lying. Im really trying to believe in EA

I hate to be a Buzzkill but NCAA basketball games do not tend to sell very well and Online Dynasty costs money to run for EA. If EA could actually sell more copies of NCAA then we will probably see a Online Dynasty but its too early for the series. Not to mention this game does not get as much of the money pie as Madden or live so that in itself makes it even harder,

Personally Im not so sure I would play an online Dynasty just because so few of my friends even play this game.

Well, if this is true then my money is staying in my pocket...this is totally disappointing...all I'm asking for is the ability to play any game on any side's schedule, or at least view it as cpu v cpu.

This has been a heavily requested feature since 09 came out, so as Qcentric says, why bother asking for improvements?

I'm really disappointed if this is the case...totally ruins my experience by not being able to watch any game....the immersion factor is gone, if you don't make the NCAA tournament or are knocked out, you're told who has won...irl you'd watch the game...

Still needs confirming but not looking good.

Not being able to play a dynasty with my friend on the same system is a game killer for me... which sucks because this game is looking pretty awesome

I much rather have a solid, vastly improved dynasty mode before it's taken online. I would get bored way too easily online if dynasty were broken.

Sometimes you have to walk before you can run chiefs.

Problem is we've been asking for this for years. NCAA football has it. College Hoops had it. I'm talking about multiplayer dynasty, not even on-line dynasty here.

Bottom line, its been years and the baby isn't even walking. If this baby isn't walking by now, it needs to plan on going to a special school.

yeah, chances are that if it went online it would be very bare bones, ala Madden or NCAA in it's first year. I'd rather wait although the thought of an online dynasty in a college hoops game would be great.

So you'd rather have last year's dynasty thrown online where every player, no matter what school they are, get top recruits? You'd rather have 200 5 star guys or so? I'd rather get it fixed before they put it online.

Re-read my post. I'm not even talking about online. I'm talking about multi-player dynasties on the same machine. PS1 games even had this.

Fix the dynasty mode, make that up to par and then just allow us to play with more than one team. Online can come next year.

I fully understand what you're saying, Multiplayer OFFLINE dynasty is kid's stuff and should have been done years ago. If you can only still choose one team in dynasty, and not able to play any game in dynasty, then I'll keep my money in my pocket, and hopefully EA Basketball will enter the 21st century with the rest of the sports games.
