My idea for this roster was to change everyones rating and bring it down by 6 that way the large jumps in overall ratings wont be common in all the players and there will be less 99s and 90's
Before i do this though i want to get feedback on this idea before i spend all my time doing it. I have sort of demo teams which i lowered the ratings for florida and texas you can try to sim a couple of seasons and tell me how it is and if i should do it.

Personally I think anything is worth trying. I might try it out cause this progression issue is outrageous.

Exactly the progression is crazy in this game and i doubt its gonna get patched so im just gonna take matters into my own hands and change them myself. Just seeing one person say that they will try these out is good enough for me im finishing up alabama i should be finished in a couple days

I just went to every team and lowered the rating of true freshman by 3-6. I left some like Russell Shepard (LSU Freshman Quarterback #7 overall on Rivals) around an 83 and Bryce Brown (Tennessee Freshman Halfback #1 overall on Rivals) at an 84. But I lowered the awareness a lot on just about every true freshman and some of the skill ratings like receiving and carrying on skill players as well. It took about 3 hours to complete.

yeah its gonna take along time finishing these rosters but its not gonna take as long as naming them cause all i have to do its reduce ratings im going to lower some top rated players like tebow taylor mays mcCoy and others but probably not by 6 probably by 3

I think there's way too many good players... And fast QB's.. So if you do these edits to take some players down a notch, I'd use them.

u can try my rosters and see how they do in games and in dynasty i have up to arizona state up in my locker

Now when you say drop ratings. Do you mean Global changes to every player? As perhaps to the under classmen, via Junoirs, Sophmores and freshman? I actually started this at about 9 this morning with lantiers rosters as a test course for progression and Madden draft classes.

sounds like too much work man...EA may even patch it to slow it down eventually putting all your hard work to waste, i wouldn't do it

Even if they do slow down the progression (which I doubt they will) there are way too many vastly overrated players on the game.. Taking players down a few overall points is needed.

A great addition to the game would be to add a "progession slider" How hard can that be? I never realized why they didnt add these things that can be so easy. Also, if any of you have played NBA Live 09, they could take a page out of that book, and let us raise/lower a whole teams attributes at once. To clear things up, say everyones awareness was too high, you could select to take everyone on the teams awareness down however many points, and it would make editing a LOT easier.

I am loving this game, but would hate to spend all this time recruiting and what not to have an inflated WWE roster. Just not fun.

If we can come up with a clever fix for this it would be great, but I just dont see it being anything other than a huge time consuming pain is the ***.

Indeed it will be a pain in the *** but may be the only option as far as providing an enjoyable dynasty experiment. When our community roster is done and players get re-rated, hopefully it'll produce more desireable results.

Im dropping every players overall rating by 6 by reducing categories they are high in and i really doubt that ea is going to patch this unless a very big issue comes along and this can just be added to it

EA will not patch this. Which is really unfortunate because they could hire me pretty cheap and I would work at this completely committed. Oh well...

Lets see what we can come up with.
