Classic Rosters for the New Game

Assuming EA 23 allows editing of rosters (let's hope it does) what rosters would you want to see?

I think everyone always wants the all-time legends rosters. Playmakers has always done an amazing job with those in the past and I hope we can port them over or make them again.

I love the Metallicarl "Who's #1?" roster and would love to play as some classic teams again. 1995 Nebraska, 2004 USC, 2005 Texas, 1988 Notre Dame, there are so many options. You could do a couple rounds of this because most schools have had a number of great teams over the years.

I personally am thinking I would like to do rosters for the best players for each school from before 2000 and from 2000 on. Split into the classic era of college football and the modern age. I find that trying to do all-time legends the rosters get a little overloaded and the players don't really fit together because the game has changed so much over the years.

What classic rosters would you want?

That's a really specific time period. What's special about those years for you?

I'm hoping to do a 2nd version of the Alumni Rosters which span from 2000-2020

1st version of the Alumni rosters had a cutoff time frame for players only til 2009.

I only have the BCS National Championship Game left to play between Ohio St and Louisville.

Still hoping EA allows us to edit all players name, height, weight and ratings. But I"ve also heard they may take away the ability to edit and share rosters depending on the outcome of this NIL deal with the players.

Louisville in the championship game isn't what I would have predicted. What conference arrangement did you use? Are they an Independent or in the ACC like they are today?

I actually had them in the Big East.

At 1st glance yes it is surprising but in my dynasty mode they had some really good guys play very well starting with Johnny Unitas at QB.

Their defense in my dynasty file played lights out led by Ted Washington, Tom Jackson, Otis Wilson, Eddie Johnson, Joe Johnson, Frank Minnifield, Sam Madison, Ray Buchanan & Dwayne Woodruff.

I have to double check but I believe that defense allowed the 2nd fewest points in the entire country.

Edit:

They were Independence
