Re: Matt10's Heisman **Very Slow Speed** Sliders

Guys I'm keeping the sliders the same, but based on feedback - dropping holding slider to 52. Why 52? No idea. Just sounds better than 50.

40 attempts, and you scored 3 x - that's not bad. The 300 yds by the QB is what is a bit troublesome. Although, one game shouldn't be a game breaker - looks like everything else was pretty much in line to be expected.

Notes:
+Game felt a little long, I played terrible the first quarter but still ended up with over 500 total yards. This was most likely due to the length of the game.
+Gameplay felt good except for a few passes that were wildly inaccurate (though it was raining).
+Defense felt good and was a lot of fun.
+Atleast three times UK got called for holding on kick returns. May not be that much, but they might have happened for three kicks in a row so it felt like a lot.
10 minutes is definitely a little longer than most, but just knowing OU and myself, we are pretty sim when it comes to the game. We wait till play clock drops pretty low, watch the cutscenes - etc. You could also enjoy the game at 9 minutes as well of course.

I've modified the holding to 52 - let me know how that works out.

If anything I would increase CPU pressure if you're having an easy time passing (since you upped CPU PCV). Of course as I've said I haven't been in front of the game in a couple days now (!!) and PCV could help. I'm waiting for OU to get back to me on how 90 PCV feels. My personal preference is to have more pressure from the CPU that results in errant throws - not just being given time to throw and then allow the CPU to still make a play.

Coming into this game I knew I had the upperhand. Troy, who is a decent low tier team, simply lacked the kind of talent that Tennessee puts on the field. Troy did manage to be a thorn in my side early on as they were hitting on some big plays early on in the passing game (afterall they are an air raid team). My offense, who managed to move the ball pretty decently, always ended up stalling out and I ended up settling for 3 1st half field goals (this game could have been REALLY ugly had I been able to turn those into TDs). Troy added a FG of their own just before halftime and I'm sure they couldn't have been happier to only be down by 6 at halftime, 16-10.

The second half once again proved to be the Vols "comfort zone" so to speak. The only kicks Michael Palardy had to make in the second half were extra points. The defense managed to add two more scores in the second half (adding to the one they had in the first half) and showed that they too could make big time plays. Troy did add another field goal in the 3rd quarter, but was quickly countered by Tennessee's Devrin Young as he scampered 93 yards to the house on the ensuing kickoff.

Overall a dominant performance by the boys in orange. I've found it rough to get my offense going lately (just seems like they are in a funk, something I hope they can break out of in the next few games). Troy had some decent offense going in this one and really kept me on my toes about all game. I had to play very smart on defense, and Troy still managed to have success, mainly through the air. Next week Mizzou (6-3) comes to Neyland Stadium. The Vols (6-3) hope to give the Tigers a warm welcome to the SEC!

Guys, I'm really digging the overall feel to these. I will stick with what I got and let you guys test the changes. I'm afraid to change anything as of right now. These are just too solid to mess with. Anywho, I will still like to see what changes you come up with and how it effects your games. Great work guys!

Yet another solid write up, Ballin.

Looks like you had a big 3rd quarter to pull away from Troy. I think your assessments are spot on because they are one of those teams that will try to stick with you as long as possible, until as expected, you should break away.

I personally won't do as much testing from here. Having great games that I can remember, and what I have found is that sliders are very sensitive. Unless we can find some true MUST CHANGE values, the ones on the front page will remain - and we'll call it a base, then go from there.

Played as Alabama vs Idaho. Won 62-3. Bama QB was 16/28 for 238 yds 2 TD 0 Int and sacked 1 time. Bama rb was 29 carries for 163 yds and 3 TD. Idaho QB was 12/30 126 yds 0 TD 6 Int and sacked twice. Idaho rb was 12 carries for 50 yds. Bama had 3 pick sixes. I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing so far.

Vanderbilt was leading me, until I went for a fake punt a la Melvin Ingram, hence the 62 yard run with my fullback. That combined with their star running back Stacy being injured shortly after and out for the 2nd and 3rd quarters just demoralized them for the rest of the game. I liked the way the sliders felt and loved the fluidity and animations of the very slow setting. I'm not worried about sacks too often as I am not afraid at all to run with Shaw.

Re: Matt10's Heisman **Very Slow Speed** Sliders

Last game lost 54-33 vs USM

not posting stats for this one but saw a positive and some weird things

Positive lowered holding to 55 only saw 7-8 combined holding penalties

Weird my starting qb, hb, and #2 wr all got hurt significantly in game.

Also watch the backup qb throw 3 TDs on 7 completions, one TD he overthrew intended receiver by 5-10 yards and receiver behind him caught it. Different TD was so far off line the intended receiver came back for ball only to have different receiver catch it for TD.

WKU 2-2 and hoping to survive the Sun Belt for a bowl game lol.
