    Official Phins Fans Thread

I think we can surprise some people this year...I mean not the playoffs but we wont be the worst team this year.

Where are my fellow Dolphin fans at?

    Re: 2008 Miami Dolphins

Not a dolphins fan at all but I got your back on this one. Last year they had some tough luck losses and then lost Brown when he was the best offensive player in the NFL. Add that to the QB shuffle and the season was a wash.

As long as he's healthy, Pennington will be the starter and he'll provide leadership, and most importantly, stability. Ginn will be better and depending on the Oline the Phins should have 2 potential all pro backs (they both won't make it... maybe neither, but combined they should put up some nice numbes). I wonder about the D now that Taylor's gone but they'll definitely be an improved team.

Im here bro Fins fan 4 life....Im wondering why we didnt see Wilford? Especially in a situation where u have a last second toss into the back corner of the endzone...wouldnt u rather have the 6'3 Wilford as opposed to the 5'11 Ginn Jr in a jump ball situation?

            What's up triggerfish!?!

I think Ginn will still have a solid season. I didn't watch much of the game so don't know if he was just covered, couldn't get open or what, but I think he and Chad are going to link up a lot this year.

I thought they were going to sign Glenn who would've been a perfect mentor for Ginn, but I think he wants to play and needs to realize he's probably past that point in his career. Ginn is just too damn fast to not get some touches without any other real targets around. Pennington played with Santana Moss and Coles so even with his "weak arm" he should know how to get him the rock.

I feel sorry or the Dolphins and their fans. Still no franchise QB since Marino, average at best receivers (why they traded Chambers is beyond me), and an average at best defense which was once great. I never would have traded Taylor as he's arguably the best DE in the league.

Running game should be good as the season progresses but it was crappy against the Jets. Pennington is a stop-gap and is the best QB they've had since Marino but at the same time, that's not really saying much either.

If only they drafted Quinn in 2007 and kept Chambers. Things might have been different. Oh well.

Man, I'm loving life right now. Dolphins might make the playoffs. YA BABY!! They got the easiest schedule left in the league and NWE, Jets, & Buff have tough ones. So I've got faith in the Fins to make it.
