Better to start this one early than late. In the past few days we have cut Derrick Brooks, Cato June, Warrick Dunn, Ike Hilliard and Joey Galloway as well as traded for Kellen Winslow. Morris is already starting to shake things up.

I like it! I'd rather them explode the team now, the try to squeeze one more 1st round exit out. Hopefully Caddy will be healthy, Graham has been a good starter, the OLineman fianlly seems to have it, and the WR's seem capable w/ Antonio Bryant and K2. I'm interested to see what happens w/ the defense.
As far as draft, I'd still welcome Percy Harvin, but would actually hope for Cushing to fall. If not cushing then Klay Matthews, the other OLB from USC. I really hope they dont' draft Sanchez if he falls. Can we at least give Josh Johnson some time? Or they gonna do him like Chris Simms.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Cant believe we traded for Winslow. Not a good move in terms of what we gave up. I think he is very talented but has an ego problem and cant stay healthy.
That, and we gave up a 2nd and 5th rounder for him........TE isnt even a need right now.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

What do you guys think about giving Kurt Warner a look now that he is a free agent? With our O-Line, Bryant, Winslow and a healthy Graham I think Warner could do some special things in our offense.
And yes, Cushing is absolutely who I want in the draft. No doubt about it.Comment

I'd pass on Warner. I think he is great QB, but Boldin, Fitz and Breaston is different than Bryant, WInslow and Clayton/Stovall.
We arent gonna spend any money in free agency unless we land VilmaCheck out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

I would really like too see Vilma here especially since we now have a gaping hole at linebacker. Signing Vilma and drafting Cushing would be the quickest fix to that problem for sure.Comment

Vilma is gone, signed by the Saints. This is embarrassing as a Bucs fan. We arent making any moves, the guys we wanted didnt want to come here. It seems Dominik and Morris are clueless. Very embarrassing as a Bucs fan right nowCheck out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Rumors have us giving up a 1st and 4th (roughly) to trade for Cassel. I completely disagree with this. We're giving up our entire draft, this isnt how you build a team.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Wow, the Chiefs got him and Vrabel for a 2nd rounder, and we got Kellen Winslow for a 2nd rounder. Kind of makes you wonder.
We picked up a guard, Carlisle Cooper. Where does he play? He isnt starting ahead of Joseph or Sears. This new system (zone blocking) is gonna make me mad. We spent all those picks and money on OL and now we are changing scheme. We picked up maulers and the zone scheme calls for lighter more athletic guys.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Re: 2009 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Raheem Morris era has begun...
I dont mind giving it time when they have a plan, but to try to go in a different direction, and then trade two picks for a tight end who probably has 4 years left in the league due to his legs (according to NFL sources). Then to miss on Haynesworth, Vilma, and letting Buchanon get away (possibly). I dont see a plan there. We are switching to a man to man pressure defense and we keep Barber? He cant cover his shadow.
We gave up a 2nd and 5th for a tight end. The Chiefs give up a 2nd for Vrabel and Cassel. How do we say we didnt get screwed.
I want the team to do well, but right now, Morris and Dominik arent givng me much confidence. No one has any idea what they are doing (other than following the Glazers order to save money).Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Honestly, from what I hear, Belichick basically hooked Piloi up. I heard the Bucs were offering a 1st rounder just for Cassell alone.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya
