As I said, export the save to your hard drive from molifox's virtual memory card, then import it the virtual memory card in your pcsx2 install

I'm so grateful we have PS2 rosters now. If and when I finish my own rosters we'll have restored support to this wonderful game.

I'm so proud of you molifox

I so wish there was a way to go to XBOX with these. Apparently there was a 2K5 editor version number 1.7 that could open both. If that were found, we could export and import into an XBOX save.
I do like what PCSX2 can do for the graphics but even on its own the XBOX version still has lots of little details that are better. I wish we could find this editor.

Wow, I was completely unaware of this.

So this whole time not only could I have supported both versions but my rosters starting over might've been preventable by using a later version we don't have that might've fixed bugs like the appearance one. Total bummer. But live and learn I guess...at least some functions I find important like removing the player pictures is doable without ruining the database.

It was in an old post here where someone says back in 2005 that there's a 1.7 version that can work with PS2 files but it was only the one version and FlyingFinn wasn't supporting it and didn't bother keeping it going. Even the waybackmachine is no use with bringing it up in a downloadable way. I was hoping people here might be able to scour their harddrives.

Either way, it's might've might've could've could've... lots of "might have"s and nothing you could have realistically done about it so I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.

I just wish we could take molifox's PS2 save and import it into an XBOX save and just have an XBOX roster from that. Would be cool if someone knew how to reverse engineer the editor for that purpose. I know several PS2-XBOX titles could have their saves converted but only in specific cases. My guess is, it's doable but complicated.

When my rosters reach a completed state I was planning on making a PS2 version to match with the same skaters used.

The only problem is that this would require 2 TVs, 2 consoles and 2 copies of the game running simultaneously and quite a lot of hours of time.

But the good news would be once stats are decided it would be as simple as making sure all information matches. I was considering once they both reached a completed state I would support both with the same transactions and moves.

But molifox's rosters might've changed those plans. Hopefully one day I get to test them and make a decision on it.

Well, not really, because using the editor that only works on Xbox files, you could just export a txt or excel file of all the rosters to do the PS2 ones. Or just switch back and forth between the ps2 emulator and the editing tool. No? Or am I missing something..
