Best NHL2k on PS2

I played all the EA NHL games. I don’t like the last two, especially the NHL 20 - one of the worst games in history for me (despite the excellent graphics)

But, I really like “computer hockey”, I'm tired of it on PS4, on PC too ... So I decided to “dig out” a series of 2k for myself. At first I played on PS3 (you can’t imagine how hard I used to buy used disks of all parts of the "2k7-10" series), I really liked the gameplay and 2k8 chips and the graphics of the stadiums in 2k10. But unfortunately in 2k8 there is no resolution “Full Hd” (1080p), and the picture on my 4k TV is “blurred”. In general, I began to look for what can be done and came across a video of games on PS2 in gorgeous quality ...

And now I downloaded the PCSX2 emulator myself and start to get acquainted with the most gorgeous games (PS2 is the best generation in the history of games, especially hockey games; several companies did different hockey, there was no monopoly, there were a lot of interesting ideas, etc.)

You are right, I have very little time, that's why I came here to ask the opinion of professionals - which part is better and why?

2K3 - hands down, baby!!!
For whatever reason, the PS2 version had more realistic goalies than XBox.
The only thing that irked me was you couldn't really shoot top-shelf. But that was so minor.
This is still one of the greatest sports games I've ever played.
If only Treyarch had continued developing this series. IMO, it'd be right up there with NBA2K.

Does it make sense to play NHL 2k7 on PS2, if there is such a game on PS3 ??

But there are limitations that prevent the user from making new rosters.

I was the #1 overall ranked player from 2k6 to 2k8 on ps2 and played all the 2k games, in my opinion 2k6 probably was the best, but 2k8 is a close 2nd adding the superstar moves and upping the gameplay, 2k9 and 2k10 had more issues than the previous games while not adding anything much relevant to the games.
