Not sure why there isnt a thread for this one... But this game looks rather intriguing to me.

I've never played anything in the series before, will I be lost in this one?

God of War (2018) you should definitely play. Story wise it’s important for Ragnarok but it’s also just an amazing game. Are you on PS5? If so even more reason to play 2018 as they patched it to run at 60fps on PS5. I had never played a God of War game before 2018, but I can’t wait for Ragnarok. So yes, play 2018 it’s amazing! And very important story wise too.

GOWR is day one for me and im expecting it to end up being my own personal 2022 game of the year!!

I am actually playing through God of War 2005 for the first time. Great game. I've been pleasantly surprised with how much I've enjoyed it along with the storytelling.

I will be working my way to Ragnarok hopefully next year. Game looks great so far.

I'm sure the game will be amazing, but I need at least a 3-year hiatus to recover from my epic (dare I say, heroic?) effort to defeat the Valkyerie Queen. I think that battle took a month off of my life.

This is a game I definitely waiting until getting an OLED first sometime next month. Wonder what the Resolution is for the Performance 120 FPS mode. Wonder if it's 1080P or 1440p or dynamic 4k.

Enjoy the OLED. I have 2 now and I don’t ever want another kind of TV haha. Currently gaming on an LG C2 and it’s amazing. I have no doubt Ragnarok is going to look stunning on PS5, can’t wait! The very positive buzz from the previews I’ve seen is what I expected but it’s still getting my hyped for the game to come out.

I'm trying to get a C1 next month. I'm good with the price for the size I want now, I'm just trying to see if it goes on sale.

Like God of War Ragnarok, there's games like this where I want to wait to play on an OLED. Without experiencing it, I'm already leaning towards the 4k40 mode. I read that the jump from 60 to 120 isn't as big as 30 to 60. And those 10 extra frames is noticeable from 30 to 40.

Surprised that they didn't do a State of Play or something for this game.

Ordered the OLED last week and hopefully should be delivered this week. This was a game that I wanted to play on an OLED. Might stick with the 4k40 mode

Man, spoilers are all over this game on YouTube. I actually dont mind knowing some spoilers before release, but it's pretty bad out there for this release. A thumbnail gave away how Odin's look and everything.

With reviews this Thursday and retail copies pretty much everywhere by now, I wish Sony would move the release date to this Friday even though it's highly unlikely.

As of now, one more week to go!!!

Going to wait a little bit for a sale on the game because of backlog and being in a unstable job going to likely be laid off end of the year place I am at got bought out and is moving to Mexico. Trying to be a little smarter with my money and while the 2018 game I like its also extremely overrated game.
