Saw a few sources online stating that a remake of Metal Gear Solid is coming to the PS5

Doesn't appear to be anything official, but its growing traction.

Would love this. Anything that brings the first couple of games back to life with the original design would be awesome.

Metal Gear Solid is a timeless classic. A PS5 version of that same game would insane.

Always wanted to see a remake of MGS 3 and 4. But, I would be happy with a MSG remake. I wanted to see Konami license out their IP that would sell well instead of just sitting on it.

I do think it is credible. It's like with the Silent Hill rumors that were persistent last couple years. I'm not sure we'll see it at the Game's Award, but there wasn't an official PlayStation event this year. So, not sure, but would love to see it

That's my concern when there are remakes of old game that are short. That's why I preferred MGS3 or MGS4. I never played MGS3, so I'm definitely down for that. Both games are long enough to be worthwhile for a remake.

That's why I've been keep bringing that game up. Unless you still have a PS3 or emulator, you're SOL if you want to play that game. Plus, I think that game was ahead of its time and would really stand out if made for PS5.

MSG 3 is a classic. I also really enjoyed 2 and 4.

I am down for any of em to be remastered or rebooted for the PS5!!

Man, MGS1 is short? Only played through it once when I was in seventh grade, and that **** felt like it took forever to complete.

Yea I felt like that too. I thought I was getting near the very end and it turned out I was only about half way.

I'm jealous of Xbox players. They have the Metal Gear Solid HD collection backwards compatible on their console. Though Konami took it off the marketplace and delisted it.
