Would have preferred 1970s Vegas instead. They keep on dodging that after having many opportunities to do so. I really hope after this releases we'll get a game in 1970s Vegas eventually.
This is also going to be linear and not open world.
New entry in the critically-acclaimed Mafia game franchise transports players to a dangerous 1900s Sicily underworld with a gripping new story
“Across the first three entries in the Mafia franchise, we introduced players to the world of the Mafia through brutal stories set in different eras,” said Nick Baynes, President of Hangar 13. “In Mafia: The Old Country, we’re going back to the roots of what fans love about the franchise, crafting a deep, linear narrative with that classic mob movie feeling, visiting a stunning new setting, and delivering it all in a tight, focused package perfect for fans of immersive experiences.”
The good thing is that I remember a few years ago that they said they were working on both Mafia 4 and Mafia 5 at the same time. So hopefully the next Mafia game isn't a long wait.
Can't wait. Have loved each game in the series thus far. I also hope 70's Vegas is next, and that one is open world again if they aren't rushed and can do it justice.

I like that it is a Linear narrative based story and not an open World game like Mafia 3. Not every single player game needs to be an Open World
I'm still holding out hope that Mafia 1 Definitive Edition sees some type of next gen patch or Pro Enhanced version
It's a game that I want to play, but I'm want it to be in 60fps.
I've enjoyed the last 3 Mafia releases more than I've enjoyed the GTA IV and V singleplayers. Pretty excited to see what this one looks like and am hoping it hits as well as the last few.
