Splinter Cell: Blacklist

    Splinter Cell: Blacklist screens leak

Screenshots of Splinter Cell: Blacklist have leaked online ahead of its expected announcement at Ubisoft's E3 conference tonight.

The shots, originally posted by Gamekyo, show Sam Fisher shooting his way through a Middle-Eastern basecamp called 'Mirawa'.

Sam also appears to be donning a brand new stealth suit.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, previously known as Splinter Cell 6, is expected to be in development at Ubisoft Toronto. Ubisoft has yet to confirm the game's official title.

You can take a look at all seven leaked screenshots elsewhere on the site, and be sure to come back at 11pm BST tonight for a first look at the game.

    I can't wait, I loved Conviction.

      Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist

I've still got Conviction sitting in my backlog of games that need to be played. I really have to get on that sometime soon. Glad to see they're keeping the series going. Hopefully it ends up being pretty good.

Michael Ironside won't be voicing Sam. Eric Johnson replaces him.

SPIES VS MERCS IS BACK!

This news right here put a huge smile on my face, and then I dropped my head to thank God.

I can't believe it, that it is back. Man I'm so thrilled for this multiplayer to make its return. Now if they go back to how it was on Pandora or Chaos Theroy.

          Wow I'm so happy.

Here is the article I read.

Ubisoft revealed Splinter Cell: Blacklist today at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. In this entry of the Splinter Cell series, Sam Fisher returns and is placed into the dangerous region along the Iran-Iraq border. There, a group of rogue nations plots to bring the war to America after years of conflict and occupation.

The combat is fast, furious and brutal. Fisher uses both melee attacks and gunplay to take out targets “quickly and fluidly.” Kinect integration can be used to call unaware enemy soldiers over to you to launch surprise attacks.

Strategic Mission Interface – or SMI – is an in-game operating system designed to help Fisher make decisions and complete objectives on the battlefield. Mark and Execute also makes its return from previous Splinter Cell titles.

The classic adversarial multiplayer mode Spies vs. Mercs also makes its return to the Splinter Cell franchise after its notable absence in Conviction.

Not having Michael Ironside is not a good development. To me that voice is Sam Fisher. In terms of gameplay this looks nothing like the Splinter Cell I know and love but I understand that games have to evolve. I guess I'll always have Chaos Theory. It's just a shame to see it looking almost like a 3rd person Call of Duty.

Got to agree with you. Looks great visually but hoping there are multiple paths to your objectives and its not just leaving a bunch of dead bodies laying around on almost every mission like Conviction seemed to me. Maybe this mission required this approach so not judging. Love the knife and when he cut open the curtain Chaos Theory style..
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.
