since bushido blade came out on ps1, I've been waiting for another game to copy the combat mechanics, and that has never happened. Every time I see a game with Samurai/sword mechanic settings I get my hopes up

12 days and 4+ hours to go until Ghost of Tsushima gets released. I'm hyped for this game and jump into the world and do some samurai stuff. Plus, it will be my final digital game purchase of the generation. Hoping that it doesn't disappoint me.

Game comes out Friday and is 34GB. Review embargo’s end 3 days before.

This IGN video looked cool when playing as Ghost. Lots of toys (smoke bombs and things) and assassin stuff to do. I still am unsure about the combat itself during sword play. One hit kills and it seems all timing based with one button type of attacks.

EB Games is running a good trade promotion this weekend. Might take advantage and pre-order this.
