The article I read specifically mentioned "Want to make your version of Hulk a red, raging beast? How about dressing him in purple pinstripes?"

It also mentioned the "meaty character customization tools" and the idea is to "play an original story, customize the heroes the way you want, and assemble online with your friends to play".

Free characters and stories, I was wondering where the money was going to come from. That makes sense.

Ok, I wasn't sold based on the initially announcement at earlier this year. But, dang, after seeing the game play I am definitely excited about it now.

I have a feeling it's likely a short campaign, but the multiplayer co-op aspect might make up for the lack of longevity.

I think they said they'd be adding new missions, along with new characters.

Watched the 20-minute gameplay video.

I'm sold. I'm getting it day one. Don't need to see anymore.

Watched the 19 minute video yesterday and is what Square Enix should have showed at E3. Sold me. I'm all in now where as before, I was 50/50.
