Franchise mode across the board (Madden/2K/The Show) is beginning to get unplayable five, ten seasons down the line. OOTP on the other hand is just getting started at that point...

I so badly want them to announce that playing online with friends is easier. It's the one thing that's keeping me from enjoying OOTP fully.

Very, very intriguing.

All the irl players in my save are gone but I can imagine how interesting that will be, especially for prospects as they are very hard to rate and older players since that's the other hard part of the curve to rate accurately. Same for stories like an irl player literally comes out of nowhere and OOTP has him but in the indy leagues with low ratings or returns after retirement or whatnot for a couple flash years before gone for good.

Also for those who like to follow real MLB closely in the near term years before letting the save go free range. That feature could help keep guys they think are veering too far "off the rails" back closer to IRL.

Really hoping for some improved trade logic and to be able to scout coaches without going into the editor. That was probably the worst thing about Ootp last year that there wasn't a good way to see how good the coaches were you were hiring without cheating
