Sausage, Egg, and Cheese McMuffin from McDonalds.

$2 bucks when you use the app (any breakfast sandwich)! Sometimes they even have it for a $1. Random times have a buy 1 get 1 as well.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendys.

Re: Favorite Items Off The Fast Food Menu

After getting a Sonic gift card, I was able to drive through it a couple of times when traveling during softball tournaments.

I haven't tried any of their shakes or anything, but their burgers are definitely better than I had expected.

I mentioned cheesesteaks before, and I guess it's fast food (don't know to what end, but I had run across a Charleys Philly Steaks before with a drive thru), but I'm absolutely in love with Capriotti's. They are absolutely expensive (I've had $50 cheesesteaks when I get double meat and such in their largest size), but their rewards program gives you a lot of opportunities for discounts that it balances itself out often. Sadly, I also gotta limit how much I eat there because of how unhealthy that is, and it is still relatively expensive.

Charely's cheesesteaks were my favorite. There used to be one in the food court of a local mall, but sadly it closed years ago as that mall died a slow death and was eventually closed and is presently being demolished

There was a Capriotti's on Pitt's campus a few years ago, but it didn't last very long (perhaps because of the high prices you mentioned being too much for the college students). I only ate there once.

Now that it's back (hopefully not just for a limited time), I'm ordering 4-5 MexiMelts at T-Bell and calling it a meal.

Best deal I've found in "fast food" is a medium deep dish from Dominos for $8.50
That's the problem now too.

Sure, everything is going way up in prices, but fast food really isn't worth it anymore.

I've seen places selling burgers for like $15+. Not a combo either.

For now, pizza is probably the best valued meal you can get, someone always has a special so you can get at least a medium with a few toppings or even a large for under $10. Subs cost MORE than a medium pizza? Sides cost at least a few dollars now?

Only good thing to come out of this (mainly because of the pandemic) is the fact that I've been able to replicate lots of this stuff myself for obviously way less money. But now grocery stores are realizing this and jacking up all the prices on their end where at times it's now somehow cheaper to buy a prepared meal than buying things to make it yourself.
