How did you find Operation Sports?

I found this website on the 2k forums. Those were my primary forums I posted on before OS and thank god I found OS, so much better. Anyways I was visiting the college hoops forum at 2k sports, and someone posted a link here for some sliders. Visited here for sliders, signed up and the rest is history.

    So whats your story?

I bought MLB The Show 09 at launch, and my RTTS file kept freezing on me. After scouring the web for fixes, I found this forum full of people that had the same problems, and were offering fixes. They also kept in contact with game developers and let them know about the issues they found so that they could make patches for it. This magical place was full of information, developer-dialogue, and a dedicated community devoted to all of my sports games. Been hooked ever since.

Re: How did you find Operation Sports?

I was looking for videos of Home Run King for Gamecube, and came across the HRK page on this site that had a few home run videos, like Bonds hitting one in McCovey Cove which I just thought was awesome.

I don't remember when I first registered to the forums, though. If I were to venture a guess, it could have been to ask where the videos went when they were taken down. Since then were posts about all of the baseball games coming out, and I couldn't put the book down. I have loved OS since then and it's practically a religion of mine.

I googled "MLB 08 the Show sliders" a year or so back and this was the only site that came up that my work didn't filter out. Which worked out great because it was the best choice for obvious reasons! LOL

Pared. I Google sliders too for the Show PS2 and found pared sliders for the show for PS2. So blame him.

I was always on teamxbox.com forums and someone mentioned OS being better for sports gaming talk, so I checked it out.

Jim and Knights "the show" rosters.

Edit: And I will shamefully add that while those rosters are what brought me to this site, what prompted me to join was a Madden "When and Where" thread.

I googled College Hoops tips back in January and here I am.
                  Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

I was looking for sliders for NCAA Football 06 or 07. I was in need of a college football fix so I picked up a used copy for under $5 on PS2. Stumbled upon this site and lurked for over year before registering.

Googled rosters for some game back in like 2006.

I was bored one day, and was browsing the internet. For some reason, I decided to come back to this site. Stayed here ever since.

Found this place from the IGN boards. Someone posted a link here just before Madden 08 was coming out and I was looking up how to update NFL 2K5 rosters as well.
