I told her that the only way that I could be with her is if she cuts off ties with her friend that makes us fight. Needless to say she called me a dick for putting her in that position and as of right now we are broken up. This really sucks because I love this girl and we had talked about kids and marriage. I want her, but I don't know what to do. I'm so confused.

I hate to side with most others here but you kinda put her in a no win situation and telling her not to do anything stupid is a little insulting. You could've made your point without being so blunt.
