Well guys this isn't the whole story. She has lied to me many times and the fact that she lied to me about things or hid them led me to believe she cheated because why else would she cover it up ya know? Her friend has tried to make her cheat on me at least three times and every time that she is with her friend they do something that usually gets them in trouble. That is why i told her not to do anything stupid. I trust the girl 100% except when shes around her friend and that is a problem. When she is with her friend, she acts single and acts like I'm not there and that is very difficult to deal with. I know the post made me seem like I was in the wrong but its a very difficult sutuation to understand.
It was more or less the fact that she was covering something up that led me to believe she was cheating. If she saw a picture of me with girls on Instagram after I said I was only with one friend eating and watching netflix, I'm sure she would assume something too. Of course after it happened I'm heated and make impulse decisions. Thats why I like posting problems here because I get an outside opinion. Thanks guys, I will update on the situation.

If she's lying to you or keeping things from you, she might not be the girl for you. If this friend is influencing her, and she's allowing it, again, maybe it's not right. Sucks to say. Not that she has to report to you her every move, but some consideration would be nice, especially knowing what you do about this friend. But that may be the problem, she doesn't want to freak you out so she's trying to just keep it hidden even if there's nothing bad happening. Like, your ignorance is bliss if she's not messing with someone else.
The truth will come out if she's going behind your back, though. You can't make people choose between their friends and their girlfriend/boyfriend, but she should be more considerate of how you feel and how she acts with this girl. Some of my best friends try to get me to do things but I'm old enough and wise enough to know its no good. Not directly cheat but put myself in a situation where something dumb could happen (more so back in my younger days then now, they all respect my relationship and are good friends with my girl too). She needs to wake up and realize if she really wants to be in a relationship with you, she need to know she can't lead a single girls life. It is a give and take. They get to have a lot of fun, but the steady relationship gets the comfort and stability. It's a choice you need to present to her because you can't keep getting lied to or worry about anytime she's with this friend. Y'all both need to really think about it, is it worth it? And adjust behavior accordingly.
Worrying about your girl running around on you is not okay and don't let it become that way. I've never once had to worry about that, and I wouldn't stand for it if she gave me reason to believe that. There's a difference between getting duped and allowing yourself to be fooled. Don't be that dude. But also don't be the guy who can't let his girl off her leash. Either extreme is bad news.Last edited by slickdtc; 07-29-2013, 10:09 AM.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: Off Topic 2013
We need an OS talk show.
We could bring his girlfriend in and get her side of the story and then make judgemental boos, while someone like Dayman is asking her questions.
That's what they do to these men on TV. Then you look in the audience and its all women.
Honestly, lying is never cool, but make sure you're not doing something that may influence her to do it, like actually telling her not to do something stupid. No one likes being told what to do. You did sound sort of clingy in the OP and maybe she feels like she has to lie to you to get some space or something. That doesn't excuse lying and it may not be the case. I just try to look at it from everyone's point of view, especially since we only get your side of the story. Good luck, either way. Cross your T's, dot your I's and if you are doing right by her on your end and you feel like its not working, cut ties and move on.
You seem pretty young.Last edited by AUChase; 07-29-2013, 02:34 PM.Comment

The ultimate problem and the one that is hardest to admit is the fact that if the GF is doing something wrong, there is only one person to blame, her.
This other friend can be as bad as an influence as anyone, but only one person makes the decision to cheat.
If she is dishonest and gives you a reason to be suspicious, it's on her, not her friend.
I echo the sentiment here, I hope it works out but to me it sounds like you really need to sit down and evaluate this scenario and situation from YOUR prospective.
Also, two random OFF TOPIC thoughts:
I really like the slow pace of this thread now (because of twitter). I can keep caught off even after being away for a day or two.
I really think the semi colon has founds it's way out of American grammar. Can't remember the last time I've seen it used correctly or even used at all for that matter.
I'm pretty sure it's sole existence now is for winky faces.Comment

Had a weird voicemail on my phone this morning. So lady calling from Rhodes (?) with a message for someone named Ron saying that she had "ICB'd a small dark kit for you guys"(?) You think the fact that my voicemail greeting starts "Hi this is Jason" would have clued her in to the fact that she had misdialed, but apparently not.Moderator

Re: Off Topic 2013
So a quick upate on my personal life.
The engagement is officially toast. The relationship has ended and she is getting her stuff tonight. The dog will be going back with her and I will no longer be taking care of it for her. The end was last night and it was bad. Very venomous with a lot of wounds being exposed. She's got more crazy in her than she realizes and it showed last night.
She claims she accepted the proposal because she got caught up in the moment and really regrets it. All of the evidence points to the truth being the complete opposite. Her trust issues, abandonment issues, and lack of a parental figure in her life now and the previous 5 years adds up to a person who does not need to be married. She's going to completely immerse herself in her career which is fine. She'll be incredibly successful and make close to 7 figures per year. But at some point she'll wish she could just trade it all for a husband and kids. My guess is that point is around the age of 38 or 39. She'll marry the wrong guy and end up divorced by 50. Divorce is so rampant in her family that it did give me pause at times. Meanwhile there is no divorce in my family. Not a single blood relative that is alive has been divorced at some point. Pretty amazing but not so uncommon in the south among the family type I have.Twitter

Re: Off Topic 2013
My grammar isn't that great and I go overboard with commas a lot, but it's better than the alternative. I really think they skipped a few generations before teaching grammar to kids in school. It's brutal reading anything my step dad posts online somewhere. There are no capital letters, commas, periods, etc.
He uploaded a picture of him and my niece and nephew on the four wheeler and here's the text with it. "Road chloe @ colt rod on 4 wheeler this evening colt already in bed chloe going to be sweet babies love both of them"Last edited by AUChase; 07-29-2013, 02:42 PM.Comment

I use it at least once a day, often on here. And I know how to use it, at least in most cases. It's not hard to use either. It essentially replaces a period or "and" when the thought logically follows.Comment
