I'm voting Madden 05 as representative of the Last-Gen games (my favorite was actually '08 PC). Since the OP's not looking for explanations I'll leave it at that.

I will say that, as above, I cannot vote 2k in its current community roster edited state, because the gameplay is SO different from the original that it's almost a different game. I'm voting based on what the games were out of the box. Take that for what it's worth.
