International Notebook
In a time when the world is at a standstill, please join me on my journey through the years using Football Manager 2020 to simulate the international competitions up to and including the 2022 World Cup and possibly beyond. As a huge international soccer nut, I spent the last three days loading in over 300 leagues around the world and simulating up to the 2022 World Cup. Eventually we will get there, and we can all enjoy that competition as it occurs. Before that, I will blast out competitions in an almost chronological order.
This is a huge project I've looked to do for many years and an idea that came from a thread several years ago by bjh909 found HERE as well as OliDegu2008's two amazing projects HERE and HERE.
Surely, this will evolve greatly in terms of how everything will be reported, however I've added the detail to the game so I will have all scores, goal scorers, and red cards issued. I'm not sure how closely I will go into the club scene, but there is a ton of detail I could go into with that if the interest is there. As a teaser here, with the save paused a week before the 2022 World Cup, Messi is currently valued at $5.5 million!
