I am really bummed about the lack of VC for Quick Games. It seems that I may be in the minority, but I have actually played games in that mode the most. It's a good way to learn the teams/controls/plays while I waited for better rosters/patch.

I get that they would get rid of VC for Coach Mode. I would have suggested they just make it half the amount instead, however, but I get it. I simply do not understand why they would get rid of VC for PLAYING Quick Games, though. It just makes 2K look greedy. They've set up the game so that we have to spend more real money just to enjoy the game. And I refuse to do that.

$3 is not a lot of money as a one-time expenditure, and 10,000 VC goes very far, particularly at low levels. I will typically buy some when I create the character, buy a maxed out Sig Skill or a few early level sig skills, and then spend the rest on stats. The phone app is your best bang for buck among "acceptable" VC methods. Specifically, the redone "Loyalty" game. I also don't mind the Facebook app. You can get approximately 150 VC every six hours by building yourself up to around 7 or so buildings, and activating each one once for your event. Come back in a few hours, start a new event, activate the buildings (you have to wait for all of them to activate), exit facebook, and come back later.

Even without the more "trick" methods of getting VC it is still pretty easy to build yourself up fairly quickly. Give yourself a week to work things and you'll be rewarded.

(BTW - one of my other favorite things to attempt is breaking assist records as a point guard. I BELIEVE you get the dynamic goal for breaking the record every time you set a new one...)

So what, us buying the game for $80+ (well that's in Aus) isn't enough money for the greedy buffoons that make the game? Considering patching takes so long and there are still many bugs in the game, why the **** should we fork out more money just to make a game mode somewhat realistic?

Okay now that I know I can't earn VC points in Quick Match can I earn VC on any other mode? I've heard about Association but is just a Time Bonus, how long does it take or how many matches do you play? Does difficulty and minutes matter?

The problem is.... a lot of people aren't getting their VC in association. I got some free time earlier this week and played association for 4 hours. The only VC I saw all day was from guessing the outcomes of the NBA Today Games correctly.

This. When the best way to improve your MyPlayer is doing everything *but* playing with your MyPlayer, including silly facebook and mobile games-- something is very, very wrong.

That is exactly my point and 2k wonders why we farm for VC. How about letting us earn enough in my player mode like we're suppose to. The moment we have to turn to facebook to get more VC is probably how in the future we will all look back on how this mode failed.

I don't even bother too much with the mode anymore, I dont have time to waste 45 minutes just to crack a A- team grade and a grand total of 180VC even if I score 160 points.

Again you stated how you get 1000vc from your iphone, so basically you're admitting to wasting precious time just so you can upgrade your my player or whatever. The method you use is exactly why everyone has every right to so called "whine" about it.

Myplayer mode is supposed to reward us enough to upgrade our players but 2k wants money so we're now stuck with earning 200vc max after each game which means we can't upgrade anything from just playing my player mode... so god forbid we compensate "just like you do" by farming.

Do me a favor, stop farming for VC, go play the game, that what its for right? You get a clue!

the app for iphone has a limit to prevent farming.
i also get the boosts from it, not just the VC. and besides i forgot that 2k released an app that wasnt meant to be used, forgive me for using something that was created to be ignored.

now this is the funniest part, where you tell me to get a life. how old are you? 15? 16?
i get time to play 1 whole game a day, because yes thats right, i work 10 hrs a day.
im up at 5am, off to work by 5.30 and leave work at 4.30pm, come home to my kid and spend time with her for an hour before she goes to bed, as well as seeing the missus and watching tv with her.
im a house painter so while im waiting in between coats (waiting for paint to dry) i play the iphone app. didnt realise some people get butt hurt over it.

i havent whined that there is no way to farming VC on coach mode and yes i hate people who whine about it, we had our free ride, its over deal with it.
