Framerate judder when crossing half court
Has anyone noticed what looks like a frame glitch when bringing the ball across half court? At first it looked like the camera was shaking or something? Is this tied to specific camera views as I seen another OS user mention it in a comment

Terrible choppiness on the Series X in broadcast camera. Has this been acknowledged by the devs?

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
I have NOT experienced this, but I use the Side camera and the Drive camera, never the Broadcast cams. I also have Motion Blur set to 25, down from the default 50. You never know, that added blur may be causing the stutters for some reason?Comment

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
Funny, I did the same turning motion blur to 25 thinking it would help but it still happened for me although 25 was much better with higher speed slider at 62 so it helped with that. If your at 60 I’m sure why you did as well.Basketball Playbooks

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
Weird, what camera are you using? I'll pay more attention in my next game but I haven't noticed any stuttering or slowdowns at half court (outside of the gimmicky dribble BS after tipoff) using Side or Drive cams.Comment

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
I just tested an LA Lakers home game. I did not notice the judder. I have noticed it before though. It might only happen when playing in certain arenas.
2K does not like giving us graphics options. I would not mind a 1080p mode that displays all cutscenes at 60 fps. A 1440p mode might be good to iron out some of the framerate issues.
2K really pushes the hardware with 4K. I felt this way when they released the PS4 Pro version. It really caused the fans to kick in on the console.
This year does not seem different. My Xbox Series X seems warmer while playing NBA2K3 vs other games.Comment

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
It's not consistent for me. Playing with the modern Kings on broadcast (normal not zoom). I just noticed it in game, but it doesn't happen everytime down.

I thought this would help me but nope, still have it happen but it's somewhat different depending on the arena I believe because some are worse then others.Comment

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
On broadcast and on PS4 Pro console, terrible choppiness happening as well just as you guys described, it acts as if the camera is shaking like last minutes shaking but it's the judder the players feel like you can't make them move against a visible wall while that shaking..Comment

Re: Framerate judder when crossing half court
Are you guys still seeing this on the Drive camera? I've never had half-court judder with it, but I did with any Broadcast cam and intermittently with the Side cam option as well.Comment

Does anyone notice this with Series S? Or mainly a 4K issue?I just tested an LA Lakers home game. I did not notice the judder. I have noticed it before though. It might only happen when playing in certain arenas.
