so I asked at EA Sports why, game doesn't have simulation at all, what said about it

so I asked EA Sports why they don't have true simulation in the game, they said they found a happy medium and hard, they have a word for it, here I get you what they said, cause it's not quite arcade, it's kinda like an arcade but it's not.

follishmo ' will never is a full simulation. It will always be like an 80/20 ish'

he meant this for online modes, so maybe meant another year with a different type of difficulty this year, so am gonna ask if it's like this in offline modes too.

cause it sure felt like 80/20 ish offline.


so here's what folishmo said :

Because online gameplay all have a specific setting it’s hard to compare it to offline… especially once you start tweaking sliders and setting that I know you’re fond of, to try to find the proper sim experience…. I highly doubt this is the best NHL made… I’m talking specifically for offline players…. The sim engine will be the same.. awful as usual and not realistic… unless they actually overhaul the AI.. and fix sliders and settings… it won’t be much different

could we be in for a surprise too? what if I get it and play awesome out of the box, on release day it becomes great like NHL 94? it would be like NHL 94 with out throwing players out faceoff circle.

If English isn’t your first language or if you weren’t born in America then I will say sorry in advance. Brother if you are going to take the time to write all of that out why wouldn’t you go to the trouble of making it coherent. You posted a “word salad”.

All kidding aside, it wasn't meant as a personal dig, just a bit of silliness. I've known (of) SuperGoalies for a while and it's 100% obvious that this is not his primary language and he's trying his best to give good information. Sadly, he's preaching the choir if he thinks EA gives two patooties about making a simulation (accurate or otherwise) of NHL hockey. They'd much rather pump out a sports version of "TSN2's latest rearrangement of Rock'em-Sock'em Hockey: Pinball Edition".

Yet sometimes, you gotta learn to have a little fun and not always walk around with a tight, balled-up underwear between the legs. Trust me, it's not healthy to be constantly stressed or uptight.

gosh, my English is terrible, yes EA virtually lied to me, but they didn't desert the other modes, I played be a pro and franchise just now, and found AI very good, and does a lot of checks and pinning me down in my own and AI CPU shooting slots, goalies do seem little better in the franchise, I found a way for myself to make 10:38 TOA time for myself and where AI CPU has like 4-6 TOA time, anyways this presentation doesn't seem listed, in-fact it seems built into the game, then again I have x-factor edition, I did see HDR settings and stuff and shiny graphics and found strategies moved, it still confusing, they added a new mechanic to game is all to make it competitive.

now be a pro and the franchise feels like hut LOL!, I pre-ordered and got 4k 60 display refresh rate, all I saw was very good graphics.

I actually appreciate you for saying that. None of us know each other in terms of location, ability, education etc. however,c we all love hockey right? Here’s to hoping that instead of focusing on the post, we take a minute to realize our differences and understand we all love the sport.

We are family in a way. Dysfunctional and all! But remember, we all love the same sport, even if EA doesn’t realize it lol

apology accepted, now let's get out there and play NHL 23, yes we are a dysfunctional family. am currently digging the gameplay of NHL 23, I now give this game a very good rating actually 10/10, cause it's nowhere near Massacre NHL 22, it's far better for goalies than NHL 22, this how NHL 22 shoulda looked like, yes peeps are right this is like NHL 22.5, but it's not it's better and a lot better then it's the counterpart.

AI CPU is not bloodthirsty so better for positioning and stuff.
