They make the weirdest edits sometimes. Jamison Crowder for the Bills has been out for a couple weeks with a broken ankle. So they decided to drop his Throwing Power by 1. He's a slot wideout FFS. Why?

Still robbing Hufunga, who PFF ranks currently as the 12th best safety (in between Joyner and Holland), and Madden has him as I think the 26th best strong safety, behind Jimmie Ward, I might add, who is actually a FREE safety. Of course, yeah, the 49ers do lots of cover 6 and they use the SS and FS interchangeably in single-high looks, but this makes Hufunga a bench warmer when he's a starter.

It's strange they have correct draft picks for the start of the 2022 season but they can't or won't update them post trade deadline. Same for contract extensions.

The Week 10 live start should have those in place, but we have to wait another week. Not a huge issue I guess, since another patch is needed to hopefully fix the franchise issues.

Jalen Hurts continues to be hated by the Cowboys fan in charge of the rankings.

Jalen Hurts’ OVR rating has increased from 74 to 82 (+8) since the launch of Madden NFL 23. He is currently the 11th best quarterback on the regs roster.

Among all quarterbacks, only resurgent Seahawks passer Geno Smith (68 to 80; +12) has seen a greater OVR boost thus far this season.

I agree with your specific thing, though. I saw “resurgent” Geno Smith first hand earlier in the year with a healthy 49ers defense. He got shut out (their score was special teams). Not saying he’s not playing well, but Id still take Hurts at this point.

Yes, but there are other top tier QB's with great teams as well like Mahomes/Allen (not comparing him to those two, but just an example). Just because the Eagles are the #1 team doesn't mean that Hurts isn't deserving of more credit than he is being given. There are definitely not 10 QB's I'd take over Hurts at this point. He has proven a lot this season so far.


It will probably balance out by the end of the season. Just not a good representation right now. And I have been incredibly hard on Hurts and thought he was going to be a bum.

Arguing over arbitrary numbers instead of the actual attributes that raise them is pointless.

Is his awareness too low? Maybe, maybe not

Would you be happier if they gave him max throw power to arbitrarily raise his rating instead of improving the areas the game actually underrated him?
