I was alive before they changed this website to say "COVER reveal June 11th" and then released 0 real info on June 11.

Nice hopefully we get some really cool new stuff in madden though unlikely I'm hoping with EA Sports College Football back in business that it pushes them to make a game close to or better then theres just so they can keep people playing!

Cant wait to see what in store I'm prepared for disappointment but also I have to believe the College Football game will push them to be better which would be a win win for everyone!

I feel like madden has become a lot like MLB the show. Add a few new things only trying to attract new players, a few flashy new animations but really nothing substantial to the franchise player. Hope I am wrong this year but madden has been the same for years at this point.

Same boat. I logged a ton of hours with Madden '23 as it seemed to make the biggest jump in years over its predecessors. I barely touched Madden '24 even after waiting for it to hit game pass as it seemed more like a Madden 23.5, especially off the field. So, I'm hoping Madden '25 is truly M25, with significant upgrades across the board, especially WR/DB play, trench warfare, presentation, functioning penalty sliders, CFM enhancements, etc.

            Re-engineered physics system.

Still must be Frostbite, so, I'll wait and see where this goes.

            New franchise stuff.

Plus, the new commentary so far.

Thanks to a news dump in May, we now have initial details on Madden 25, not to be confused with the 2013 installment.

Feels like there is more pressure on Madden this year than any in a long time. CFB25 is getting a lot of hype and has the benefits of being away and being this gen only.

Let's hope they add some franchise improvements because if it's just small stuff and no draft class import I think a lot of people could wait for a sell compared to the last decade.

I feel like every year they come out with new "physics engine". I am just wanting them not to leave stuff out. I liked M24. It plays well but its the leaving out things like penalties that drives me nuts

Re: Madden NFL 25 Reveal Arriving on June 11

I do want to believe that Madden will take a step up this year. Seeing all the perceived effort that EA Sports has put into CFB, I would want to imagine that they would try to at least match that effort for one of their flagship titles. Yes, EA CFB has had the benefit of 3 years of development and not yet being on the annual dev cycle. But, I do think Madden takes some type of leap. I was initially surprised a little that Madden didn't follow suit with CFB in dropping last gen. But, I'm guessing they want to maximize revenue for Madden and wouldn't be surprised if Madden stayed cross gen next year as well.

I'm glad that Madden will get new commentary and likely multiple broadcast teams. I've been wanting to see a different broadcast team for years now. I do wonder if they followed the CFB path in doing remote recordings. Part of the reason why they liked the Gaudin/Davis pairing is that they've had more availability then bigger names. But if they did remote recordings, that would allow for bigger names. It's a huge difference flying guys out to do multiple sessions than to have the guys set up home studios and coordinate times that's convenient for them.

I wonder how improved the presentation is. I think it's hard to look at the effort they put into the pageantry and traditions in CFB and try to compare that with Madden. Pageantry and traditions matter a lot more in College Football than in the NFL. Even rivalries matter more in the College Football than NFL. It's been hard for me to pinpoint what Madden would need to do to really ramp up presentation and immersion. Immersion has been my biggest gripe for Madden. Madden's presentation is geared towards Online H2H where it's more suitable for a streamlined approach. When Madden went through the "Fast to Fun" approach where they streamlined presentation and took out things like coin toss and breaking the huddle, the immersion factor dropped for me. At least with EA CFB, College Football has clear things you could point to as far as presentation. New commentary helps, but Madden really needs to Amp up the NFL atmosphere because that's something the CFB 25 looks to have with it's College atmosphere

I do wonder who the cover athlete will be. Cover athletes is never a concern for me. But, it just feels like one of those rare quiet years where there isn't a Gamestop leak or at least heavy speculation. I wouldn't mind seeing a non-QB for a change. I do that is likely this year that we see a no-Qb because I don't think there is a clear cut obvious choice like other years. Take out Mahomes & Lamar and guys coming off of injuries and bad seasons, only obvious choice might be Stroud or maybe Dak. I think it's too early for Stroud. I wouldn't mind a WR or Defensive player

I would like to see CMac on the cover. He was arguably the next best choice for MVP after Mahomes.

I can see that. He was someone I thought of, especially since he'll be very high 90s OVR. I just feel like if they have a QB on the cover, then they just feel like the QBs are the most marketable. I feel like they missed out on guys like Derrick Henry and Aaron Donald.

I would say Tyreek Hill, but it always seems like there is off field issues with him. CMC seems like the beat choice I can think of. QBs, I think Stroud or Dak. RB, CMC best choice. WR, you have a few guys. I think Justin Jefferson would've been a great choice if he wasn't coming off an injury. Defenders, I just think of Watt, Garrett, or Parsons. Just feels like they missed out on having Donald on cover. So, I just think CMC is the best choice

I just was mentioning likely QBs. NFC East- It's just Dak and Hurts. Hurts had a down year. NFC North and NFC South- none that are worthy. NFC West- I don't think Purdy is there yet marketability-wise. AFC South- it's just Stroud(maybe a year or 2 too early). AFC West-Mahomes is a no because a two time cover athlete and Herbert had down year. AFC East- None. AFC North-Burrow is coming off Injury, Lamar is a chance since Mahomes and Brady was cover athletes twice within a couple years. So like I said, I don't think there's a worthy QB cover athlete unless they just want a QB on the cover

                              Agree on all of this.

Go with a non QB this year. Or…how about a classic legend like they did for M25 on PS3 (Barry Sanders).

That is the direction I would go in.

Maybe do a dual legend cover with Jim Brown and Dick Butkus to honor them both.
