Traditions for your team you hope to see.

I'll be curious to see what the Bearcats turn in. I'll be happy if they just do a shot of the Jimmy Nippert memorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqIFSERaXAo and the Down The Drive Cheer https://youtu.be/W2C_jQ5EB4c?si=aLKekq6jSymJwsfF

Another cool thing is the tradition of the band running down the steps to the field https://youtu.be/DVsV0EqKa1I?si=h7OJYeFz60DnNpkO because sometimes this happens ;) https://youtu.be/Jzqck8CAe9Y?si=p8WfQBTGYQW-ty8k

The team entrance with fireworks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUrxe5AT2y4,

Or the Cat Walk where the team walks through campus to the stadium amongst all the tailgaters. https://youtu.be/-r0SRpc9Mjc?si=W8UfJYQWXEkcUCz6

Obviously Miami is the reason so many teams run through smoke now, so I expect that to be in the game. Doubt they licensed Phil Collins for it, but I would love to be pleasantly surprised.

Some in Miami say they invented the 4th quarter 4 fingers up thing everyone does. I don't believe it, but I hope they built that into the game so all the teams that do it do do it.

Like USC, Miami's crowd grows throughout the first two quarters, so I hope to see dynamic attendance in the game, but I doubt they will have it be like that where some teams have traditionally late arriving fans.

Whenever it rains at a Miami game, often the crowd gets wild with it, so it would be neat to have dynamic weather in the game, have it begin raining, then hear the Miami crowd begin to just go crazy because of it.

The Trailer had Wyoming entrance in it, so it's not just going to be the top teams.

I would be stoked to see the Texas Tech Masked Rider running down the field, but Assuming it'll just the the Raider Red Mascot.

We saw lots of other teams "touching" their traditional 'thing' (Notre Dame, Auburn, FLA, etc). Hoping my Sun Devils run by the Pat Tillman statue and touch it. I'll be happy if just the statue is in the game. I'm a 52 yr old guy and feel like its Xmas eve!

I’ll say my most hated team Tennessee singing rocky top and run through the T.

MSU’s Thunderstruck intro.

Across Stadium “Go Green! “Go White!” chant.

Zeke the Wonderdog

Putting a helmet on Paul Bunyan after beating Michigan

Just to name a few

For the Virginia Cavaliers, here's some things that would be nice to see and hear:
  • the Cavalier on horseback enters the field during the team entrance from the tunnel
  • the football team enters the field flanked by the Cavalier Marching Band in a V formation
  • during the team entrance and after any touchdown, the marching band plays The Cavalier Song
  • after any conversion or field goal, fans visually lock arms and sing The Good Ol Song as the marching band plays the song
  • the broadcast commentary teams interchangeably refers to the team as the Cavaliers, the Wahoos, and the Hoos
  • the public address announcer yells "And that's a Cavalier..." and the crowd responds "First Down!" after any first down by the Virginia offense (followed by the marching band playing a brief sting of the Cavalier Song)
  • prior to kickoffs and significant 3rd and 4th downs on defense, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC plays over the public address and the crowd chants "Wa-hoos!" anytime Brian Johnson sings "Thun-der!"
  • prior to the game, the football team disembarks from the team bus and enters Scott Stadium at the southeast entrance (the Wahoo Walk)
  • Sad Virginia Fan if and when the defense gives up a lead late in the 4th quarter lol

Of these, the Cavalier on horseback is easily the most iconic presentation visual associated with Virginia football and likely the one must-have. It was already in past NCAA Football games and Florida State also has a horseback-mounted human mascot, so I expect the Cavalier returns here as well.
