What team (s) are you starting a dynasty with ? (help me find a team)

Even though we don't know the full details of dynasty mode yet with the info we do have I figure its close enough to get this thread up. What team or teams are you starting your dynasty with?

It seems like a lot of people myself including are going to be run multiple dynasty's. So let's hear some creative teams as like 75% of the things I see online are Kennesaw State.
I'll recap what we know so far with dynasty.


No cross play dynasty
OD is in with 32 team max
Teambuilder is in for private dynasty

12 team playoff
Coach Skill tree / ability upgrades
Distinctive playbooks
Custom playbooks reportedly are in (leaked)
Home field advantage should be real
Nothing much known on coaching carousel
Wear & Tear system could tie in with needing more depth
Easy schools will be easy wins for elite schools (leaked)
Entrance / Atmosphere type stuff appear to be top notch even smaller teams

Nothing much on recruiting is known but some hints are its encouraging
85 Man rosters
5* will play differently than 2*, but 2* can still be gems (leaked)
Transfer Portal / NIL is in

I'm rolling with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The uniforms, the wave, new big ten, and can I fix the worst offense in the country from last year. And their D should be one of the best in the game. Sleeper playoff team in real life too imo

Undecided at this point.

But probably someone like Pitt, VA, Arkansas, Candy.

I like taking bad or medicore teams and turning them into all time powers.

First and foremost, Oregon. And my goal in year one is really a natty given our roster, but at the very least, absolutely demolishing the disgusting Fuskies up north to vent my frustration of the last 3 losses to them.

Aside from Oregon, I tend to run a lot of dynasties. Smaller teams, to historically good teams that have been bad for a long time, etc. So my first non-Oregon team is probably going to be one of ULM (assuming they have General Booty), New Mexico State, or Vanderbilt. Vandy has the advantage of being in the SEC to make recruiting marginally easier, but obviously they’ve been the punching bag of the league for 65 years so.

I don't know if I should ever use Iowa and fun in the same sentence so let go with interesting in the video game world. You could go the fix the offense situation and scheme route which shouldnt be to tough. With them i was thinking I would put in some house rules and you can't have a 4 or 5* QB,HB or WR and try and fix the offense.

If coaching carousel is in the UNC would be a team about year 5 on my radar to jump to. They are in a good location, cool uniforms and easier conference

I'm planning on using a flexbone type of school to start with for one of mine and Army has the lead for that.

If Army has their real players, then I will start there and work my way up to Syracuse, where I will stay until I'm fired or retired. If not Army, then I will start with the worst MAC team and work to Syracuse.

It's funny you mention ULM and Booty because I think that's going to be my first time to upload as a 5 year rebuild. Oregon I do think is a better team to pick then they would have been last year with the move in conference. Maybe they are some in house recruiting ways to add to Vandy to make that more realistic like with academics

Georgia is going to be my win now team. I am debating between Arkansas (KJ Jefferson) and Colorado as my fun wildcard team.

I might start with a created team and build them up. Or use Hawaii or North Texas.

I usually start with a bad rated team and build them. In NCAA 14, it was UMass on my first play through. Not sure for 25, will need to look around the game, see the new teams and decide who I want to go with.

My two teams are Marshall and VT. VT is in a fun place right now. We’ve been rebuilding and are looking to take a big step forward in a pretty wide open ACC. Marshall is a bit of a blank slate right now and would be a bit more of a rebuild. Either of those I think will be pretty fun.

Going further afield, in the P4 I think I would want a B10 team, since they will play at a lot of cool venues and would have weather which I always like to see. Minnesota would be a fun rebuild. Or Indiana.

G5 adjacent, I think THE Oregon State University would be a fun run through. You can make it “realistic” and have them in the MWC, or you can take them to the ACC/B12, or rebuild the PAC, as realistically or unrealistically as you want (I hope anyway.)

True G5, I probably won’t because they’re a Sun Belt rival to my Thundering Herd, but man would App State be a good one.
