The excitement in these forums are at an all time high

When NCAA Football series died, these forums lost something. Sure I love The Show and the forums there have kept me entertained. But College football’s return to virtual world has got things running again.

It has been exciting to see old friends (welcome back Fairdale Kings!) College Football is going to great. I’m excited for sure. And looking forward to some more old friends popping back up!

It's been years since I've regularly visited OS. Madden just hasn't scratched the itch in years and I really missed having this game to look forward to every summer.

I am so hyped for this game I'm literally counting the days and weeks until it comes out. I'm at "Cartman freezing himself" levels of excitement!

Yea it’s awesome to see, thanks to OS for hanging around all these years and giving us old guys a chance to talk about sports games. Also can’t believe that I hung around myself since my sports game the past decade was mostly just 2k

A cheap plug once the game starts it would be cool to see people posting or just reading the dynasty writeups in that section

When I first found out about this message board (I am a message board junkie), I thought it was great. I lived to read updated "How's Your Dynasty Going?" posts. I even went back and read some old ones. A lot of them are very well written. Then, they got fewer and fewer. And then crickets. My posts started dwindling down to very rarely. Now, with the game returning, it is like Christmas morning for every college football video game fan.

Very high, First game since what 11 years or so? Also, every other sports game has been going downhill. This is arriving at the perfect time.

I had been gone so long I forgot my password and the email associated with it, so I couldn't reset it. Thankfully, I got lucky and entered one of the many passwords I've had over the years and I'm back!

I remember the nostalgia of working on the community sliders with Matt10. There was a lot of work and grinding that went into that experience. It just feels good to be back!

No doubt. I always lurked back in the day for years and years constantly. When the game was announced I started back here and eventually joined. As a middle aged dude now it makes me feel younger and excited like the good ole days

I feel like a kid again. I was literally a kid during 95% of my time on OS (allegedly), so now that I'm fully grown, it makes me realize that getting older doesn't mean we'll stop loving this game. I remember seeing profiles that said, "Join Date: 2002" and wondering how they stayed around so long. Now I see those same profiles and understand why they've stayed around. The hype keeps you young

For me, it's a mixture of the "grand return" and current state of sports games. When the NCAA games went away, I got out of college football in general. When it was announced this game was returning, I got back into watching College football. This is the first sports game in a long time that "Excited for". Where I look forward to playing games like NBA2K or MLB the Show, I'm not anxiously waiting for those games. Then, I don't like the current sports game landscape. Overall, it just feels like there hasn't been that much of a "leap". At least with being current gen only, having 3 years of development, and an Madden engine to build off of, they are able to lay a good foundation to build off of before they hit the annual dev cycle.

I just thought we'd see more games go current gen only, especially with this game being speculated to not being cross gen for almost 2 years now. But, it seems like the other sports titles will stay cross gen.

I think now, instead of dynasty write-ups, most folks are going to do YouTube dynasty series. I can't wait to see how people get creative with these.

I’m going to attempt to a hybrid of both, but YouTube being a thing def makes it easier on things. I can make a video showcasing my recruiting board that’s much quicker then writing it all up
