Does this do anything other than just be a symbolic thing? The only thing I can find is it puts a little icon under him on the field

Do you have a pic of this? When setting my captains it gave me a pop up saying this, but I played a game and didn’t see anything for any of my 6 captains.

You're allowed to have six named captains at any given time, and I believe you can change up your captains whenever you want without consequence.

Probably just flavor. In the PS2 era it gave that player a morale boost and +1s to certain position groups but I don't think those systems still exist in this game

Anybody ever find out if setting a player as captain has any affect on the players?
