Need help making games a little more competitive
I had this problem last year and managed to figure out a nice balance.
I don't like messing with sliders much, I'd ideally play on default. But out of the box I like this game on all star with pro user shooting. I noticed however since the patch (with the original all star sliders, it seems like they have changed the default sliders since) that the games are slightly easier. I'm usually up by 10 at halftime. Just kind of curious how ya'll would make the game slightly more competitive. I've considered just upping the all star shooting to what it is on superstar, that way the computer just makes more shots. But I'm also curious what the differences are with the new default sliders vs what they were out the box. Does anybody know the changes?? I'm also considering going back to 8 minute quarters like I did last year bc I'm scoring the ball more. I was up to 9 this year bc it was harder to make shots but I feel like offense has gotten easier since the patch. |
Re: Need help making games a little more competitive
There’s no way for us to know what 2K have “changed” with sliders after any given patch.
There are slider sets you can try out on this forum and on YouTube, so no need to worry about constantly tweaking sliders yourself if that’s a barrier for you. I would never settle for 2K’s default settings, nor do I see a point in anyone else doing so. If you play offline, you only hinder your own experience by sticking to the default sliders IMO. |

Do you seriously believe you have a valid opinion on the game pre and post patch while you're posting you don't care about plays etc? |
