Mentioned in another thread about this, I wonder if fhis could push 2k to jump back into CHoops. Even just based on the OS numbers, it seemed like there was consistently more OS users in the Madden thread before release

Yea major news and it shows EA (and other companies) that you can still make money on a sports game that’s built for offline franchises. I wonder if this would give them a bigger team for 26. On a side note the EA stock is down 6% the past month

I know what you mean, but College football at his core just makes for a better football video game then NFL.

I remember hearing from insiders that EA's goal was to get a third of what Madden revenue from CFB. So if true, definitely shattered expectations. I think numbers will drop next year going forward. But, I think it will continue to be a commercial success. Madden Fatigue, dormant beloved series, real players, and college atmosphere is a major selling point. I'm looking forward to seeing Real Coaches in the future. It would be funny if Belichick allows his NIL to be in CFB after not being in Madden. Different reasons, but for Recruiting purposes, it always helps with your face being out there.


That's why I'm curious about CBB. I still don't think CBB is as mainstream(outside of March Madness), but I think the fan interest is there

A college basketball game would sell, I am now 100% confident. I was before but the fact that CF25 sold 3-4x more than their expectations, a good college bball game could sell 750k-1M copies which would be more than enough to make it profitable.

There are so many unique ways to pull it off, I really hope someone makes the move

I don't watch CBB and I never did MyNBA in NBA2K, but I would definitely buy a new CBB game day one. I still feel like NCAA Basketball 10 has the best in-game presentation broadcast package in sports games. I prefer the Recruiting process over the professional roster building.

Will be interesting to see if there is a significant dip next year.

I do hope this can help push Choops 2k to returning. 2k8 remains my GOAT sports game.

Let’s just put it this way, even if there is a dip, it’s going to surpass EAs two year plan 3/4x fold. CF25 is a really good game with passionate devs that want to make the game better next year and fans appreciate that

I hope I'm playing 2K College Hoops again by summer 2027.
