Dynasty Ideas
So I tend to be someone that sucks at sticking with dynasty. With that being said I want to do at least one dynasty from each of the conferences. Give me a team or a few and a reason to play as them. Props if you bring history into the idea.~it puts the lotion in the basket~

Re: Dynasty Ideas
In my opinion , there just isn't a more fun and satisfying experience than playing as a MAC team, and even ANY MAC team, doesn't matter. I have already played a dynasty playthrough with Ball State, Akron and Eastern Michigan.
Good times, and I would play a reboot with any of them no hesitation, tho I still want to do a Kent State dynasty first.Talk about things nobody cares.

Re: Dynasty Ideas
My current dynasty is really drying up, and I am also thinking of trying something new.
My idea was to do a "realistic" service academy dynasty, where I put lots of restrictions on recruiting and take over as HC at Army/Navy/Air Force. I'd only be able to recruit 3-star or lower recruits, would have to find players that have academics as one of their top priorities (as the academies have higher academic requirements), and put physical limits on the players I could recruit, etc.
I'm still working on specifics, but I want to make the dynasty challenging.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: Dynasty Ideas
Outside of my favorite schools, I find the dynasties I can run longest as are a following career as a coach instead of a school.
I start as an OC at usually the absolute worst team in the game (sometimes it varies). I can generally move to OC at a better school within a couple years, then at a p4 or a jump as a G5 HC. I have a lot of fun with it. Although the carousel is a bit flawed, it creates storylines. I thought for sure I’d be offered HC at wake forest, but they didn’t. They went 1-11 and fired their coach after 1 season, still didn’t offer me. It’ll be funny if they’re 1-11 or 2-10 again.
It makes me feel like I earned a spot which makes me more invested. The freshness of new schools with fun uniform combos and new recruiting challenges keeps me going too.
My current dynasty is going in year 5. I was Rice OC for 3 seasons, then UCLA for one, and now I’m Washington State HC. My challenge is poor school ratings mixed with my top 5 receivers are ALL redshirt seniors. I was a bit jilted that 3-9 Boise State didn’t offer me as I had set them as my Alma mater, but also kind of happy because I know I’d never leave there but I’m not attached to Wazzu.Last edited by SilverBullet19; 01-03-2025, 06:36 PM.Comment

Re: Dynasty Ideas
You could look up the specific height/weight restrictions and go on that. I’m not sure how many options in the games generator would fit especially for OL, but if it’s just a bit low you could need to move TE/DL to OL and stuff. That’d be tough. My current dynasty is really drying up, and I am also thinking of trying something new.

And all recruits must have academic prestige as an important pitch (since they’re not getting in otherwise anyway lol)Comment

Re: Dynasty Ideas
Starting as an OC and working your way up the ladder can be fun. You can change team every couple years, that's realistic for a young coach.
Conference realignment can help keep things fresh. Maybe start as Clemson or Florida State and move to the SEC after a couple years. Or as Notre Dame and join a conference.
Or take a team and go Independent so you can control your schedule every year and play different teams.
Changing your schemes can help freshen things up. Change to a three man front on defense or switch to the Air Raid on offense.Comment
