Midnight Club: Los Angeles Update Available
 

A title update is currently available for both the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 versions of Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Both updates bring improved AI balance to adjust dynamically to user skill level. The Xbox 360 update also adds support for additional leaderboards for tournaments on the Rockstar Games Social Club, broader multiplayer match searching, and upgraded streaming and performance.

dont know about xbox but for ps3 theres an automatic pop up saying update 5.00 or something. worked for me

I noticed it a Tad, im just above 70% of the game done, but when I read an article with an Interview with a rockstar guy he said they mainly made the first 3rd of the game easier like the Green/Yellow races. But he did say you would be able to progress without doing the Red Races. So it seems like Orange Races (which are beatable after a few tries) are the "end Levels" if you will...
