    Pro Style Offense

    Hello guys!

I am new to this game (usually play Madden), and I don't know much about NCAA (my excuse is that I come from ) and since I make the switch at the same time from 360 to PS3, I would like to know a couple of the best (or more fun to play with) Pro Style offense teams so I can get used to the game. I know that eventually the fun part will be to use different offenses.

By the way, good job as usual regarding roster/sliders/etc. this website is just the best in the world for sports gaming!

Cheers and thanks for your input,

    Re: Pro Style Offense

Alabama is the clear best team in the game (Oh-Ver-Ray-Ted), and while they're listed as a One-Back offense, they do have an I-form set and they run a lot like a pro offense.

Other good Pro-style offenses include: Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Miami, Nebraska, Stanford, USC, Wisconsin

Now, Arkansas is easily the best passing team out of all of these. QB 96 ovr, WR 92 ovr, WR 92 ovr, WR 89 ovr, TE 92 ovr. The RB 85 ovr makes the running game easily playable but not exactly dominate.

I haven't decided which team I think has the best running game, but Nebraska and Iowa would both be great choices.

I like using Pitt the most, Stanford, Arkansas, and Georgia have all worked well for me so far as well. And Fresno State!

If you want the best team using the best playbook... pick Alabama and use Syracuse's playbook.

Being a Miami fan I recommend Miami. Good quarterback with a speedy offense behind him. All our WR's have 90+ speed and acceleration and are all over 6'3''. Everyone besides Travis Benjamin our slot receiver, he's 5'9'', but he's insanely quick.

Also Cooper, Berry, James, and Johnson are one heck of a backfield. Anyone of those guys will have a solid game every game. And, if you're like me and like to use different packages, using AJ Highsmith, the backup QB on option plays is awesome. He's basically a RB at the QB position when it comes to running the option. I have had at least 3 50+ yard run TDs with him. He's also not that bad accuracy wise.

What are the thoughts on which team has the best pro style playbook? So far I''m using Maryland's but have also played with Boise State a bit.

Syracuse has the best Pro-style playbook, and it's not even close.

                      I'll give it a looksie.

I played with VTs playbook and it is pretty good. I just like Maryland's a bit more. But VT does have my favorite passing play in the game. Circle from shotgun spread flex. Crossing pattern is usually open.

Well, I almost never run shotgun. I'm under center except for on 3rd and 10+. In fact, I'm in an I-Form unless it's 3rd and 5+, where I'll go Ace for 5-10 yards and shotgun for 10+.

And for my money, PA Scissors is the best play in the game. And it has been for a lot of years. It works excellent in Madden as well.

Yea I agree with this, I've been using them in my Dynasty so far and the running game has really taken off with Darren Evans in my second year (lots of running and short passes to control the ball and the clock, I love it.) Their playbook has a healthy dose of Ace and I-form formations.

I play solo Dynasy sim only (for now) is there a way to specify depth chart by play? I ony found functionality to adjust general depth chart. Thanks for any/all feedback (even a cursory "sorry dude, no can do" would be helpful).

I have my teams I use and try to fit an offense to them.

Currently I’m really liking the generic multiple offense.

Generic pro has a good amount of I and offset I if you prefer lead blockers.
