I can't find any threads on the ps2 version for m11 but im just interested in the gameplay...is it still as good as past versions?

A 10 year old system that has a overall better football game experience then you can currently play on the xbox360/PS3, after 6 years of next gen development, IMO ofcouse. Well there is backwards compatibility so you could play it on PS3.Comment

Sadly, most likely, this is the last year of last-gen madden, EA put no effort int the PS2 or the PSP version. I can understand the PS2 version, but they shoulda done more for the PSP version. They still should enabled downloadable roster updats for these 40 dollar games.Comment

yeah sadly i think so too..ill probably just get the ps2 version this yr A. because i like the gameplay better. B. I do believe you still get to choose a random celebration after scoring a td (still don't know why they removed this in madden 09 on next-gen) and C. Franchise and superstar modes are more fun on ps2 to me at least. Madden 12 for next-gen better be sick when it comes to franchise and making the overall gameplay experience level with the cpu and in general. Make it fun to play defense and have your usual low scoring battles and occasional high scoring games. It can't be that hard EA right?My online ID for PS3 is Brewersfan08

Anyone using Madden 11 PS2 version on the PS3? I have the back comp PS3, but not sure if the PS2 version will work. There was no info on the Sony site on the PS2 Madden 11 working with the PS3 yet.

I traded in the 360 version for the PS2 version this weekend. This year was the first year that I actually enjoyed the current-gen offering of Madden, but I still think the classic gameplay, combined with a more robust franchise mode makes the last-gen version the better game for me.
Glad I made the switch.
