College Football Pick Em 2010-2011
Whats up to all the college football fanatics. I ran a CFB pick em on another forum that i requently visit and it worked out pretty well and had some good fun with it. The game that i run is all here within this thread. I keep up with the games and the standings myself. Ok, so here's how it works:
Every week i will post 4 games of my choosing. Usually the games are the more marquee matchups of the week. 3 of the games will be worth 1 point each. The 4th game known as the "spotlight game" is worth 2 points.
When we get to the conference championship week, each championship game is worth 2 points. Except for the BCS conference championship games (ACC, Big 12, SEC) which will be worth 3 points each.
Then every single bowl game will be worth 2 points each except for the BCS bowl games (Rose, Orange, Fiesta, Sugar) which will be worth 3 points each. The national title game will be worth 5 points.
Picks must be posted before College Gameday is over on Saturday's. I will update the standings every Monday or Tuesday as well as post the games that you will be picking.
Rarely will i choose a game on Thursday's, but if i do i will let you guys know a week ahead of time.
