College Football Week 2 (Sept 11)

Well, tomorrow is "Monster Saturday" as dubbed by ESPN. Use this for general discussion.

Good slate of games tomorrow, though it seems like every Saturday has some special name coined by ESPN nowadays like "RIVALRY WEEK" (which seems to happen multiple times each year), ect.

Houston is rolling over UTEP. Not surprising. It's about to be 31-10 before halftime.

EDIT: Oops, spoke too soon! UTEP recovers a fumble and now has the ball again; 24-10 Houston.

Coogs win 54-24. More important is the fact that Case Keenum left the game in the 3rd qtr after getting kicked/kneed in the head following an int. He looked a little woozy on the sideline, hopefully he will be ready to go next week at UCLA.

He walked off and showed cougar paws to the student section while leaving the stadium at the end of the game so I think he's alright. If it was a concussion I imagine they would have taken him to the hospital right away.

Glad to hear it. From where we were sitting it was hard to see very much on our sidelines.

Yeah, I was in section 224 way on the opposite side of the stadium but my friend pointed him out as we were leaving.

                    Dan Persa is really good.

The offense looks great, I love these short gains.

I am excited to see if USF can give Florida a game.

Brantley drilled on the first play from scrimmage.

Not confident at all in Florida today vs. the Bulls.

What a helluva day in college football!
