    How come?

This thread is to help answer questions about why certain things happen in 2k11, and hopefuly how they can be changed in 2k12.

    How come:

A.I. defenders leave their man to help guard your man, when you are clearly guarding him yourself?

On a 2 on 2 fastbreak, why do both defenders run to the ball handler, leaving the wing guy open for an easy pass and score?

Every time I set a charge my player is injured?

I have to use the euro-step or hop-step animation anytime I want to attack the hoop?

All blocks look like flagrant fouls?

I miss shots in the paint when im open, but drain contested jumpers on the perimiter?

A user controlled player can pumpfake and get three free throws against the AI at will?

Any other additions would be great.

    Re: How come?

One defender can chase the pass back and forth and thus, guard two players?

Pulling the shotstick down results in a slower shot release or scoring attempt?

I have to use icon passing to pass to a player cutting in the paint?

Post moves are impossible to block or contest, reguardless of defensive timing?

When I try and steal the ball, my player nearly falls down?

The euro-step animation is the same for any player, from shaq, to kyle korver, to manu ginobili or dwayne wade?

Jumpshots are more sucessful than moves in the paint or post ups?

Using "Y" or triangle button, or the left trigger modifier negates any assembelance of defensive position?

I can throw a pass down court to a player that leaps in the air, while running, to catch the pass, but stops immediately without momentum and shoots a jumpshot, and scores?

The computer controlled AI on the other team plays better than the four other AI on your team?
