Stevie Johnson Rap Video + GAME

What do you guys think about Stevie Johnson pursuing a rap career? Do you think he should be focusing on his game, or that this is great for him to explore things he wants.

I actually thought the song was pretty good, he definitely could work on a lot of things musically, but he's a character and I like him haha! Oh, another question; do you think athletes should stay away from trying to pursue these things? It seems like every athlete wants to be a rapper or an actor, but they do them while they are still playing.

Outside of a free style most rappers (musicians) in general are reading off something in the studio. It all gets cleaned up in editing after. That said, no thanks Stevie. Athletes in the off-season I suppose its better than getting DUI's.

Better for him to channel his energies making music rather than running around and getting himself in trouble with the law. He may or may not have musical talent but that's not as embarrassing as those team music videos from the '80s.

Not bad I suppose. Definitely a lot better than Chris Johnson's embarrassing attempt at rapping.

He's made quite a few raps for Kentucky. I know he made one for John Wall and look up his locker room freestyle while he was at UK. Great stuff back in the day for UK football

So, in other words, he'll be the NFL's answer to Ron Artest minus the bench clearing brawl in the stands?

I don't think the music will be any good but outside interests are a good thing. I don't expect these guys to focus on football 16 hours a day, 365 days a year. Noone questions more "legitimate" business ventures or even other hobbies like golf, that take up time as well. I would say that the only reason his time it is being questioned at all is because it is rap.
