Thank you so much!!! I was trying to find out what was wrong and couldn't figure it out but this worked right away. Just so everyone knows I play on Xbox 360 and the same solution worked for me. Thanks once again Wudl you are my hero.

The things that make it through testing is just so damn embarrassing. The fact that I even have to do this for a game I paid $40 for is appalling.

Yes, it is annoying. But comeone guys. Everybody knows 2k has killed its baseball segment and the workaround is so easy. And to be honest: 40 bucks isn't the end of the world. You only have to think about the cash you (not you personally, just generally speaking) pay for alcohol, cigarettes and other completely unnecessary things. And nobody complains about that.

EDIT:
I am quite sure the problem is caused by something regarding MLB Today and/or those living rosters. Can we turn those two things off?

Unreal... I got a bit concerned and even had my son try the disc in his - same problem.

I'm a 360 user - does this mean I'm screwed? I don't know of a workaround... Thanks!

mine won't work either! this is pissing me off. Now I am back to 2k8 (the horror). MKharsh33, try changing the date on the xbox settings. It might work. I haven't tried yet, but I will let you know once I find out.

If you are signed into xbox live you cannot change the time settings manually - I'm on hold right now with the 2K tech support... I'll see what they say...

I got it. Here are the instructions. But you can't sign back into xbox live till tomorrow. I went in through my non-live account and signed out once in and loaded my live account.
