Undefeated Teams Left ... Who Can Go All the Way?

    And then there were 12...

    So, we have:

    Kansas State (6-0)
    Rutgers (6-0)
    Louisville (6-0)
    Cincinnati (5-0)
    Ohio State (7-0)
    Notre Dame (6-0)
    Ohio (7-0)
    Oregon (6-0)
    Oregon State (5-0)
    Florida (6-0)
    Alabama (6-0)
    Mississippi State (6-0)

Who do you think can make it all the way through the regular season undefeated?

Also, what are the chances that Ohio busts the BCS? They are the only undefeated non-BCS team left, but they've looked fairly mediocre in conference play thus far, despite an undefeated record. Their best win is at Penn State. I'm not sure if their SOS will even grant them a chance at a BCS bid even if they do go undefeated.

I'm going to go Ohio State, Oregon, and Alabama.

Louisville has by far the most favorable schedule the rest of the way but hasn't impressed thus far (relative to a few other undefeateds). Still, you have to like their chances.

Ohio has to play at Kent, at Miami (OH) plus either Toledo or Northern Illinois in the MAC CG if the dream were to get that far. It's too tough of a schedule for a team barely winning each week. No disrespect to the Bobcats though. Solich has gradually built that program up to elite status in the MAC.

Damn. UTSA lost. I was hoping they'd go 12-0 in their first season.

I see Ohio, Alabama, Oregon, and KState winning out.

I believe one of the Big East teams will be left standing. As long as they don't had a dud against someone else or lose to Cincy, it could be a battle of 11-0's in Piscataway to end the season. Even if one of the BE's teams finish undefeated, I doubt they end up in the MNC.

The undefeated BE teams are not very good, The BE is terrible. I watched Rutgers beat Syracuse yesterday and to be honest, all Rutgers had to do is show up, Syracuse did a fine job of beating Syracuse. It's a good defense but the offense leaves a lot to be Desired. They have not played anyone either, there SOS is terrible.

It's funny though, if WVU stayed in the BE this year, this is the year they would have had a crack at the NC

No way this Ohio State team finishes undefeated. It looks like the offense is in gear, but the defense is regressing every game. It's not a tough schedule ahead per say, but OSU isn't much better, if at all, than any of teams they will play.

Agree on Oregon and Alabama though. The only two I can really see going undefeated, although I don't expect it.

Obviously there's only one acceptable answer.

I don't disagree but I would love to see Rutgers in the Orange Bowl against FSU.

I have a feeling this year, we might see some uber crazziness. I feel we might be left with one surprise undeafeted, and that Alabama will lose a game. LSU, Miss State plus the winner(I'm betting Florida) if they make it that far.

Kansas State will lose a game, at West Virginia, at Baylor, at TCU plus facing Texas still. One of those games will be a loss.
Rutgers, Louisville, Cincy, none will go undeafeted.
Ohio State, I'm going to say they finish undeafeted. Not really better than some of the probable 1 loss teams, but I think they can win out with their schedule.
Notre Dame, I don't think they will get by playing at OU for one. So tack up a loss there.
Ohio, will be irrelevant, but they will lose
Oregon, they play @USC, @Oregon State and also Stanford, plus if they make it, the PAC12 championship game. I don't see them winning all those games. I think USC pulls it off.
Oregon State, a great story and nice to see them so high, but I honestly don't see them beating both Oregon and Stanford.
Florida - I don't see them making it through South Carolina, FSU and Georgia unbeaten, then if they do making it through the SEC Champ game
Alabama - I just get this feeling LSU pulls it off
Miss St - not a chance playing @Alabama and @LSU

Isn't there still a chance Oregon would have to play USC twice ?

It's hard to beat a team twice in one season.

You are delirious, if the Big East isn't that good, then the ACC is a Mid-Major.
