The Official "OS Trade Finder" Thread

I am making this thread as a sort of replacement for the stock Association Mode "Trade Finder" feature.

The point of this thread is to:

A) Ask for advice on realistic, fair, and balanced trades in your Association.

and

B) Provide advice and insight on trade scenarios mentioned in the thread.

When asking for advice, be sure to leave your team, starting 5, players you are looking to trade (as well as others who you are willing to add to a trade), and the position/player you are looking to trade for.

Seeing as my main objective in the Associations I start is to improve my team through realistic and balanced trades, and the fact that I am fairly adept at 3+ team trades, I will be serving as the resident "Trade Guru" if my fellow OSers will have me To read my "guide" on making realistic trades in an Offline Association, check out my thread HERE.

Great idea, someone over on the Show forums did this. Maybe people in my 30 team interactive association can look here for realistic trades to offer.

I'm controlling all 30 teams(only playing Clippers games) in association so I can't use the normal Trade Finder in Association, I"m in the beginning of January and I'm slowly starting to think of some deals I would do at the deadline for other teams.

So that being said, any good trades for Tyreke Evans, Paul Millsap, ands Josh Smith?
Tyreke is avg 22,5, & 5 as SF, but the Kings aren't doing so good.

Millsap is 15 a game, but Favors is avg 10 and 6 off the bench.

Josh Smith is dominating with 24 ppg, 10 rpg, 4 apg, 1 spg, & 1.8 bpg, but the Hawks are the 3rd worst team in the East.

Any insight would be helpful.

These are three very intriguing trade scenarios... I'll have to wait until I get a chance to fire up my Xbox tonight so I can take a closer look at these teams and any possible suitors before I can give you any specific answer.

However, I can give you some ideas for Tyreke Evans. The Kings need to get at least a prominent SF in return for Evans. Also, you should look to send Evans to a team that is in need of a playmaker on offense who can dominate the ball. Evans can play PG, SG, or SF, so there will be a lot of teams who could use him.

The best teams for him to go to would be teams who have good shooters, but not really anyone to take the ball up court, distribute, and attack the basket.

However, I can give you some ideas for Tyreke Evans. The Kings need to get at least a prominent SF in return for Evans. Also, you should look to send Evans to a team that is in need of a playmaker on offense who can dominate the ball. Evans can play PG, SG, or SF, so there will be a lot of teams who could use him.

The best teams for him to go to would be teams who have good shooters, but not really anyone to take the ball up court, distribute, and attack the basket.

The Spurs are stacked at SF with Leonard and Stephen Jackson. They need a bigger younger PF so if you can find a partner that needs Tyreke and has a PF that matches the description. Also throw in a 2014 pick.

I was thinking maybe a 3 team trade between Sac, Orl, and Hou

Something along the lines of Tyreke going to Orl to play PG, Jameer to Houston(in the game they have 10 mil in cap space & in my association they only have Douglas as backup PG) and maybe Harkless to Sac. But idk.

I was thinking they just gave up maybe Douglas/Brockman and a 2nd seeing as they are just sort of a facilitator team. (Much like the Clippers were last year when they acquired Nick Young)

Sounds good.

Dumb question, but unfortunately I haven't looked over the Magic's roster at all: What is Harkless rated and what's his potential/value?
