NBA Live has my $60 next year if...

they do not include the ridiculous amount sliders in online play. I am a casual player and I love the game. I play with my buddies locally and always enjoy the games.
I get no enjoyment out of online play. I spend the first minute of the game waiting for the other guys to exploit every setting to the point that I can not make a pass.
For some of you guys, it is REALLY important to get a win. I don't play because I seek the satisfaction of the win. It's an f'in game. I play it casually.

If Live wants to be relevant at all next year, they will appeal to the casual gamer.

You just made a topic about what NBA Live must do to make you happy.

Good luck. 2K is miles ahead of NBA Live. Have you seen NBA Live 13 gameplay? That is the most atrocious garbage I have ever seen, they didn't even implement boxing out. I know we all have our problems with 2K but switching over to the dark side is never the answer. Plus they'll probably cancel the series all together.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but online play is not for the casual gamer. Not Live, nba2k, madden, fifa, call of duty, etc. It's been this way for years. I'm suprised you haven't figured this out. I don't know. Maybe you should play against the CPU, on rookie. with the kinect, ps move, or something.

How exactly does that work? What setting can we exploit that stops you from making passes?

You can complain about coaching profiles/defensive settings not being able to be saved online, thus causing you to wait, but you cannot complain that as a result of a player's adjustments, you are rendered ineffective. That was the whole point of the adjustment...

In-game adjustments are like a game of tag. They made an adjustment, tag youre it. Its your turn to make an adjustment to beat his adjustment. Then it will be his turn.

"Im not buying the game next year if I cant beat better players without having to get better myself"

"I am a casual player! I should be rewarded with success for the mere act of purchasing the game!"

                    These arent valid arguments.

Did you just say that CoD isn't for the casual gamer????

That game is tailor made for 10 year olds and is INCREDIBLY hard to be bad at.

They just need to have good enough gameplay and I've heard they care about art (jerseys, accessories, shoes) so that would be a + over 2K. Don't get me wrong 2K does add a bunch of shoes but they all are low resolution. In the NBA Live screenshots the players look real good too.

Just because a 10 year old kid is good at it, doesn't mean it's INCREDIBLY easy. That 10 year old kid spend hours everyday, on that game mastering CoD. I'm not saying it's sophisiticated or extremely difficult to master. I'm saying CoD online play is not for the casual gamer.

With FPS, I considered myself a casual gamer. I haven't played CoD since Black Ops, and my 11 and 12 year old nephews would play those games every day, weekend, and holiday. If I was to play deathmatch against them, they would destroy me. Hence, CoD online play not being for the casual gamer.

Thanks for feeling the need to construct one word from my comment.
