EA releases who's in the lead for the cover vote

EA posted yesterday who's in the lead for the cover vote yesterday and they say that Oregon and Notre Dame are leading the vote getters. However, according to the facebook poll, the leading vote getters should be Kentucky and Notre Dame. I took screenshots from the facebook poll so you can see the voting totals.

And here's the link from EA.

I guess I should've expected this, but this still is very bad for EA.

Wait...you thought they were actually going to go with who is winning an online poll? They don't even read that poll. That poll is there just for advertising. They decided who was going to be on the cover themselves weeks ago.

voted for my team PSU. They seem pretty high up there as well, but absolutely no chance they put a Nittany Lion on the cover, even though there are several GREAT candidates with Mike Mauti and Gerald Hodges. However it would be marketing suicide for them.

        Give me a break.

NCAA 14 should have Denard Robinson on it. His whole career is filled with video game like stats. He's the all-time leading QB rusher in NCAA history, over 10,000 yards of total offense.

Stats don't lie. #1 rushing QB of all-time, over 10K yards of total offense. He's not a QB. He's a Weapon.

He played and started at QB, RB and WR this year. NCAA 14 is a video game, he was a terror on the NCAA series. Therefore, he deserves to be on the cover.

Facts a fact. Everyone knows who Denard is.

I'll take T'eo, Smith, or Klein before Robinson. Besides, Michigan already has a cover athlete.

Te'o seems more likely, especially if ND beats Alabama.

If we actually had any say, or if EA actually cared about what we think, they would have made a good game years ago. I'm not surprised the voting is a sham.

2 actually. 99 with Charles Woodson and 06 with Desmond Howard.

They should really go with the Heisman winner. I bleed crimson and white as a Bama fan, but Johnny Football earned a cover spot this year. Shoelace had his shot, but didn't deliver. Johnny Football for the cover

Johnny Manziel can't be on the cover he's still has eligibility.

I think it's obvious Geno Smith or Denard Robinson should be on the cover.

Eddie Lacy over Denard Robinson. Bama tore up Michigan so bad they didn't know what was going on. Geno Smith fell apart mid-way through the season and started throwing interception after interception that he was even removed from the heisman list.
